That's exactly what I plan to make over the weekend. Although I bought groceries today, I'm not really sure what we'll have tonight. Maybe chicken fajitas.

It's a mostly chinese food buffet. Last night they had lots of seafood put out, so, along with my normal Chinese choices, I added snow crab legs, squid or calimari, shrimp and clams.

Tonight I'm thinking about scratch tacos. Tacos are a lot of work, but I think the whole family will be here for dinner tonite... so I just need to get some fresh cilantro, tortillas, some roma tomatos... and I think I've got everything else I need.

8 layers! you are a brave soul! mine was Stouffers from frozen. I have made lasagna from scratch a number of times, but not anywhere near as good as that. Even crock pot lasagna isn't quite as yummy. i am surprised that hubby didn't pick up garlic bread to go with it though.

Shepard's Pie is in the oven smelling lovely. I don't think I'll have any side dishes, it's loaded with veggies with taters on top.
