We had bacon cheese burgers w/ let and tom. :P
(heart attacks on bread)
500 calories or less!
We had Beef Chow Mein.....
zucchini cornbread sounds really good. My hubby would probably love that. Thanks for the recipe. I also saw one for pineapple zucchini bread. We just did pasta salad with cukes and tomatoes with the salmon tonight. Didn't mesh well. LOL.
Good Morning everyone, - with all this talk about zucchini, I am going to add it to my grocery list for next week.![]()
Tonight we will have our granddaughter with us. She has decided she wants Talapia, French Fries, and Corn on the Cob.
DD and I have to work tonight, so we will probably have fast food- I will get a salad and she will most probably get a dbl cheesburger.....
***puts bag over head***
Chef salad and Weight Watchers pepperoni pizza.
I slow cooked chicken all night and we had that for lunch.
Supper is going to be a Marie Callender's frozen dinner.
Left over Fazoli's (fettucine alfredo and lasagna).
Had salmon, baked potatoes, peas and a salad !
Grilled bratwurst, baked potatoes, and corn on the cob.
We are going to try to BarBq Steaks (storm coming in and the wind will be blowing) with baked potatoes and salad.
Taco salad.
Sauteed vegetables and brown rice, with some freshly-ground pepper mixed in. My kids are at their dad's house - they probably had something along the lines of hamburgers, mashed potatoes, and egg noodles. Did you notice the starch and no regular veggies?? (No, I am not a vegetarian.)
Fried cube steak (I was going to make mushroom gravy but it didn't turn out this time)
Mashed taters
Corn on the cob
Green beans
A regular southern meal...but, not biscuits. I try to keep from so much bread.
Theresa...we've been trying to eat healthier. I have made brown rice in the past but hubby just ain't too crazy about it. So, I at least stick with organic white rice.
My youngest daughter loves food (my older daughter has so many food allergies, poor thing). Anyway, when I started eating a lot of brown rice and veggies about a month or two ago, she discovered she loves it! So now I try to make that at least a few times a week so she can share with me. Eating the brown rice/veggies and cutting out most of the wheat and all dairy has made a HUGE positive difference in how my gut has been acting for the last several years!!
Had to take my DH's son to work tonight so on the way home I stopped at McDonald's and got the kids some McNuggets and fries.. I got one of those new cinnamon melt thingies. Oh, man, was that ever GOOD!
I've been wanting to cut out milk and wheat for years...just haven't. I particularly noticed a gas problem last night after a Sonic milkshake. Man, I know milk can't be good for me after that!![]()
A friend of mine has cut out wheat and is having almost no abd pain. I think Celiac disease might be a lot more common than we think and have varying degrees of affliction.
