Halibut and veggie soup. Kind of a funny combo but it filled our tummies and was yummy.

Once we got the groceries put away we were no longer hungry and just had banana pina coladas and a loaf of fresh french bread which we just tore up and ate with butter. Very yummy.

Pulled pork tonight. Oh and no booze in the drinks. Luscious.

Gonna be salisbury steaks with fresh asparagus, and salad. I think I'm going to slice up the strawberries for short cake too.

caligal, we had asparagus last night too! It wasn't a hit...there are leftovers.

Tonight we're having baked chicken, salad, and some sort of carb, although I've no idea what.

Tonight was bourbon cured beef sausage fried with pasilla peppers and onions over brown rice with a cheddar cheese sauce gravy. The sausages have a robust flavor that was complemented by the onion and peppers. The cheddar cheese sauce is the same as I make for au gratin potatoes or mac & cheese.

Last night we went to our small local Italian restaurant for supper as we were already out and about. Tonight we will grill burgers, after we get home from my chemo.

Hugs and prayers for you, caligal.

I've no idea what to make for dinner. I believe my family is getting tired of my food. Perhaps McDonalds should cook tonight.

I put a pork roast in the crock pot this morning and we will have pulled pork BBQ sandwiches tonight. The house smells wonderful with the aroma and I am hungry now!

It is tacos tonight! Haven't had these in ages. We are using the shells that look like little boats. Sliced strawberrys for shortcake later.
