Our 19th wedding anniversary was June 17th. But we celebrated today and went to dinner at Red Lobster. I had steak and Rock lobster tail, baked potato, tossed salad, Cheddar Bay biscuits, and stuffed mushrooms. It was so good!

My DH and I are in Lincoln City, Oregon tonight celebrating our 2nd anniversary. We went to a restaurant called Pier 101 and had a bowl of clam chowder with a salad. DH had steamed clams, which looked kind of icky to me, but he loves them. We're having a great time!

    Grilled Chicken Sandwiches

I made a marinade for the chicken breasts consisting of barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, grated Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and a little water. Served them on hamburger buns with some sliced tomatoes and lettuce.

Anyone who shows up uninvited gets put to work cleaning my dirty house 'cause I've apparently decided house cleaning doesn't fit my job description. How are you at cleaning toilets?

Excuse me, on what seems to be a silly question. But what exactly are biscuits? See over here biscuits are sweet what you call cookies, so I am a little curious as to what you call biscuits as you have them for dinner

sounds yummy. Do you have these instead of bread to soak up gravy etc... Do u have them with a baked dinner? Always something new to learn

I am cooking a roast lamb tonight, with baked vegies, who knows maybe even with a touch of Southern style biscuits!!

They're a type of bread and are especially a staple in the Southern US. They're delicious with thickening gravy, chocolate gravy, jams or molasses.

they are also good for breakfast sandwiches, a fried egg, slice of cheese and a sausage patty or slice of bacon placed between a halved biscuit.

biscuits are like a yeast-less version of a dinner roll.
