    Default The next POTUS

The USA is probably the most powerful nation on earth in regards to its military, political and economic influence. God has blessed America like no other nation.
The USA shall elect a new president in 2012, sooooo...............

    Daniel 2:21 21 And he changeth the times and the seasons; he removeth kings, and setteth up kings; he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that have understanding;

In light of this verse and considerieng we are living in the end times, what kind of president would be more likely to hastens Gods plan in respect to Bible prophecy ?

I think any of them would. Maybe if republican it will be a bit longer in coming but both parties have candidates running that are not exactly what I would call a conservative and God can use any one of them.

I tend to be pessimistic when it comes to this subject. While I believe that the upcoming election is in God's hands, I just can't shake the feeling that Obama is going to be elected to a 2nd term. The media has really been playing him up lately (more so than usual) and conservatives like Santorum are being demonized. I am praying for a conservative win, but am preparing for a liberal takeover.

I'm sure Obama will win again. I'm also sure that God isn't happy about the agenda of the libs but will allow them to win to bring about the end.

I think who our next President is depends on whether God intends to leave this country with the president it elected after the rapture, or leave it leaderless. I really don't know the answer, but if we are still here when it comes time to vote, I'll vote the way I believe the Lord is leading me. It disturbs me that O could be reelected, but I know that is a possibility. All we can do is pray Lord, Thy Will Be Done, and vote.

From Daniel 2 :20-21 we know that God is in control. His changing of the times and seasons is a reflection of our cultural sign of the times or how we expierience the world we live in. Which in turn, will decide how we vote. And i turn, promote Gods will.

I'm with you 100% on this!!
I truly believe that the "ZERO" will be reelected and just hasten our demise with the rapture not far behind!

I'm with you, whoever allowed Obama on the ballot in the first place and kept him in office despite his ineligibility will make sure he wins the "election". I don't care what the polls say, any of these Repubs would wipe the floor with Obama is a fair election with no corruption. I continue to pray that God puts a man in office that fears Him, we'll see. At the pace things are moving, maybe, well hopefully, we won't even be here in November.

We all know that if Obama wins a second term, America as we know it will cease to exist. Without re-election looming over him, Obama will be free to do whatever he wants. And that means a liberal utopia that goes against everything conservative Christians stand for (or anyone with morals, basically). While a part of me feels that this only hastens our departure, another part of me cringes, because if we are not raptured fairly soon, we will be here to witness the complete destruction of America from within. Forget attacks from foreign countries/terrorists- America has become its own worst enemy. In our quest to progress, we have only regressed. Such a tragedy. God blessed this nation and instead of praising and thanking Him, all people want to do is curse and blaspheme Him.

Praying for the rapture before the next election! However, if the Lord should tarry, and we all have to stay here a while longer, praying for a Santorum administration in 2013.
Come Lord Jesus and bring us home soon!

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast."
    Ephesians 2:8-9 NIV

I may not be perfect, but Jesus thinks I'm to die for!

IMO if O is re-elected it will be this nation's darkest hour, and the only positive thing about that is that it's always darkest just before dawn. Surely if such is the case, the Lord will come quickly, as in immediately. Hope, hope, hope. I'm still planning to vote for Santorum if we are here and he is on the ballot.

Well, if Obama is re-elected, America's demise will come, which will probably means the tribulation is right around the corner. If Santorum is elected and a revival occurs, we may have a few more years for a final harvest. To me, it's definitely a choice between evil and good, cursing and blessing. God is in control so this will be interesting!

I think very clearly that in light of this being the end times, Obama would be the one who would hasten the downfall of America. Just in the time he has been in office, our country has experienced severe diminishment on many different levels...financial, spiritual, in terms of liberty, destruction of the Constitution and so on.

HOWEVER, it is not beyond the realm of possibility that the Lord could in His great mercy and wisdom decide to put some brakes on this runaway train in order to bring more people to Him. If that turns out to be the case, then Santorum will win the nomination and be elected president for a term.

Romney is not the answer and even though Newt is smart, he isn't the answer either. I like Santorum and the more I see him in action the more I feel as if he reveres God and the things of God in a way no other candidate does...certainly not the current occupant of the Oval Office. He is able to draw a clear distinction between Obama's ideology and conservatism. I feel that if Romney wins the nomination, the first time the race card is tossed his way, he will fold like a paper fan and will not push back and keep the debate on Obama's horrendous record and his ideology. He will sit on his hands and make token arguments against Obama just like McCain did. Santorum however I think will push back, tell the media and the liberals to stuff their racist garbage and keep the focus on the country and Obama's ideology. So, we shall see.

Nice, very good post IMHO, and I agree.
