Default Would you like your body to be any different in Heaven? If so, how so?

You guys already know I LOVE to think about Heaven and try to imagine how incredible it might be, even though it will be more incredible than we can even imagine (1 Cor 2:9). Anyway, here are some more Heaven musings:

Would you like your body to be any different in Heaven? If your family and friends could still recognize you and still be comfortable with you, what (if anything) would you most like to change about yourself in Heaven if you could? (Choose as many as you want)

I suspect this will be a failed poll as I would imagine most people over 20 or 30 would want ALL of options 1-9! However, maybe the poll will help inspire some interesting posts as to specific desires.

"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:19-21

I wouldn't mind a few changes to my body. Except for maybe my face.. and I'd like to keep my red hair!

I don't care that much as long as I'll be in perfect health, not having to worry about disease, fatigue, sickness, being overweight, ect

I have always loved blue eyes and blond hair. I would like to try that and red hair with green eyes sometimes, too. I would like to: be about 20; a little bit thinner than I was at my thinnest adult weight; maybe a little taller; have perfect eyesight; have perfect teeth/strong, perfect, salon-pretty nails/long, thick eyelashes; and to have option #3 with tons of energy (but without being overly muscular). I've often thought it would be fun to be a little kid again there sometimes, too. And I would like to be able to either "think" changes into being, push some buttons to do so, or go to a celestial "New-You-A-Thon" whenever I wanted and change whatever I wanted about myself. Hey, why not think big?

    At the New-You-A-Thon:
    "May I help you?"
"Yes, please. Today I want to be a 7-year-old blonde with wavy hair down to my knees. I want blue eyes and I want the strength, flexibility and talent of an experienced ballet dancer. And a pink tutu and toe shoes. And a tan. Oh. And dimples. Definitely dimples."
"Very well, madam." *clicks a few buttons* *poof*
"Thank you ever so! Bye! Tra la la la la...........*dances away*

I am thinking big ........ bigger than 5' and 1/2", can't forget the 1/2". Already blonde and blue eyed so have always loved 'sparkling' dark eyes and olive complexion. Mind you if I laid off the bottle I could be "white" haired and blue eyes

All of the above, but I want to keep my red hair

    .

Actually, just younger, healthy and fit again would be fantastic. I'm accustomed to my face and anything else just wouldn't be me.

Given we will still be recognized by those we love, I guess little will change about our appearance except our bodies will be glorious in their perfect state.

    Simply can't wait.

I just don't want to be an aardvvark.

But then how could I add to His idea of my perfection.

I cannot, so I'll not limit Him in anything.

I think this fits my thinking on this subject, too.

Good point! I always say that if something happens to me, and I have to have a breathing tube, that I HAVE to have Afrin original pump spray mist or I will literally suffocate, as I cannt breathe through my nose...great point! I had sinus surgery (polyp removal on my right maxillary) in May, 2006, and although I have less sinus infections and they are less severe, I STILL get them! I use Zyrtec, Nasonex, and NeilMed Sinus Rinse. I also received allergy shots up unitil a few months ago...

A little less weight (no double chin!), long, thick RED hair (I've got strands of gold and copper in my hair now, but it's mostly brown), a factory reset on age, and that's about it right now.

Of course, with my luck, I'll get my glorified body and it'll look exactly like the one I have now, only perfected, and when I ask Jesus what's up with that, why didn't I get a slimmer figure and thicker hair, He'll grin at me and say, "you always looked perfect just the way you were!"
