I don't see a whole lot of meeting of the minds to be expected here...

Default Not to rush things, but...

Quick thought: what is the possibility that Prime Minister Netanyahu will launch his attack on Iran WHILE he is here in the US next week?

He would be out of the country and protected from any retaliatory strikes, thus maintaining the gov't of Israel remotely from "theoretically" friendly soil (same line of thinking as it is during the State of the Union speech... Our gov't always keeps a cabinet member offsite and in an undisclosed location in the event of nat'l tragedy, so if the worst were to happen, we would still have someone in charge).

And since, in such an event, he would be on US soil, it would effectively force Obaha's hand to protect him and quite possibly commit our military to help the Israelis "secure the region." Sounds like a Joel C. Rosenberg plot!

Personally, i don't see Bibi as the kind of man who would do this. He would be perceived as a coward and a bully, and if anything is going to happen, he'll insist on a front row seat among his brethren. But... Is it possible?

I suppose anything is possible! It is a very good idea! You should email the Benji and tell him to consider it!

That would show him weak. Bibi I doubt is the type to hide behind a curtain while others fight his battle. The only reason Israel hasn't attack yet is they are trying to shore up support for the aftermath which I doubt will come.

Look what it has done here. If I were Iran and heard that, I might take notice!

Default I think "O" could utter the words

...and then "smote" his legs in case he actually would have to do something to protect Israel.

Just a reminder, previously when Israel wanted to attack Iran, the US blocked it- they held up the delivery of the bunker busting bomb that Bush promised, (I still don't think it has been delivered) refused to allow Israel to use Iraqi airspace, refused to provide air refueling, and promised that if they did attack, the US would not resupply them.

"O" has only one goal and that is the destruction of the US and bringing Israel down with it. One minor detail (since he doesn't read the bible apparently, is Israel is God's chosen and apple of His eye. We will diminish. Israel is in for 'tough' times, but I think the masses of the world will ultimately have it worse for their treatment of Israel.

What terrible yet exciting times we live in. Come Lord Jesus!

Could be a possiblity, but I see Netanyahu as the type of man that would want to be in his country with his people when that times comes. I think he would want his people to know he is right there with them and he is not hiding out in another country.

You know what. It is time that we stop disrespecting the office of the president. Yes, I cannot stand the things President Obama is doing in the White House, but instead of criticizing we should be praying for President Obama. Pray for your enemies the bible says. Pray for those whose hearts are hard and do not follow after the truth. Pray for those who are seeing things with physical eyes, that their spiritual eyes would be open, pray for truth and salvation to reach down and touch President Obama and all who are in positions of leadership both Republican and Democrat, pray that we will reverse the curse of abortion in our land and that there be a radical heart change.

Let us pray. Let us speak up the truth about President Obama and his administration, but pray for him, his wife, and his 2 kids. Pray that God will transform their family, touch their family, and bring salvation to his family. He is our President like it or not. Praying for President Obama, and myself asking forgiveness for my unforgiving heart toward him. Help me Lord to see him a man who is in need of salvation, and that he is not out of your reach to radically change.

    In Jesus Mighty Name.
    Amen

    11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,
12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent.
O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

Very true...it's not human nature but Christ's nature to pray for him...it's not easy sometimes but thanks for reminding me that we need to be praying for those in leadership too...

You mean the same guy who has hid the Cross and the American Flag?
As an individual by all means, to think he was even remotely qualified
to demand the respect of a position of this magnitude?

Default Netanyahu to Tell Obama: Attack Iran – Or Else

    http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Ne...2#.T1PXAmDgJT4

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will deliver President Barack Obama an ultimatum that if the United States does not attack Iran soon, Israel will, the London Telegraph reported Sunday. U.S. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta said last month that there is a "strong likelihood" of an Israel attack by June. If Prime Minister Netanyahu delivers an ultimatum, it would give the United States 2-3 months to act or face the reality of an Israeli attack that would almost certainly require the United States coming to its aid, if necessary.
