Default What animal would you like to experience being?

Note: This poll is dedicated to Wally and pixelpusher who do NOT want to be aardvarks!

If you could experience what it would be like to be an animal for a couple hours, what animal would you like to experience being?

I think it'd be neat to pad through the forest as a big cat, leap off the cliff and be the eagle, dive into the sea and be a dolphin or even an orca.

I agree with most of you all.

Some kind of Cetacean (Whale, Dolphin, Orca)

Some kind of Raptor (Eagle, Hawk, Falcon)

Some kind of Equine (Horse, Zebra. Preferably not an Ass )

Either a cat so I could sleep any time I wanted and NOT feel guilty about it. In the alternative, a hermit crab, so I can stay in my shell!

If I were a house cat for a while, I reckon I'd want it to be a kitten, just so I could play like that, and ambush my litter mates and ride invisible bikes and do flips and stuff.

And... I'd want it to be at Mom's house, cause she does love the kittehs, and feeds them good stuff.

We were getting stupendous long rides, and having a blast. Then a pod of dolphins joined us, and they surfed beside us, and swam under our kayaks, leapt, and generally frolicked around with us for about a half an hour. I honestly think they were hanging out with us, though I guess they *could* have been hunting... It was awesome, maybe like a visit with the elves for a hobbit. I've always loved the water, and being in it, and to be able to experience swimming like a dolphin would be tremendous. Revelation 21 says the sea will be no more. That part makes me sad. But I reckon it'll be alright by that point.

Kayaking with dolphins........WOW.....that sounds SOOO cool!!!

As far as there being no sea, I have been saddened by the "no more sea" thing, too, but I would like to think that there will probably be seas on other worlds or maybe there will be very large lakes in Heaven and on earth that will be every bit as wonderful (and then some!) as the seas.

But here's something to think about, too. It occurred to me that maybe it was a matter of translation. So I looked up the reference (Rev21:1) and checked out the word "sea" on a Strong's Concordance site. Look at the 2nd possible meaning: it might just only mean no more Mediterranean Sea or the Red Sea, not every sea!

    1) the sea

_____a) used of the sea in general

_____b) used specifically of the Mediterranean Sea or the Red Sea

So, maybe the massive earthquakes the Bible predicts will change the earth's topography in such a way as to eliminate one or both of those seas, not every sea.

That's a good point. I don't hardly see how an Earth could work without seas, but you know His thoughts and ways are higher than mine.

This side of eternity, I hope you're right, Tiger Lily. I can't imagine why there would be no more seas at all, certainly we know all of nature speaks of something of God's nature.

Who hasn't sat on a beach and looked out at the deep sea and thought of how great, vast and deep God is. What a joy seas are.
