Perhaps Big Brother (Sister) may have already linked you to your SAG name, even though you aren't a celebrity in the eyes of the world. I think all this verification is just one more way to link a person to any possible alias they may have to make tracking us easier. Facebook may be the most popular social networking source, but it's not the only site that harvests personal information (data mining) or has loose privacy policies to help the government(s) "keep us safe".
