Question Would you elect an Atheist for President?

I am sorry that I had to say the A word I just don't know what better word I could use.

Obviously, I would NEVER even concider it! If not from God, where do you get your morals?

Would you elect an a-word for president?

Saying the Atheist word is fine, we call them unbelievers, I like hoping many of them become Tribulation Saints

If the (atheist-unbeliever possibly trib saint) is a conservative for free enterprise, with a balanced healthcare plan, and for small govt. with a strong home defense, protects Israel, and open to drilling and capping the oil companies from price gouging, doesn't bail out companies with our hard earned tax dollars, does not troll our country by occupying the White House with expensive vacations, does not promote class-warfare, and stays out of the bedrooms, and makes prostitutes buy their own birth control, I'd vote for him/her.

We are not looking for a King or Pastor of this country, just a CEO who is in it for the people, not just for his own personal greed and fellow cronies.

Revelation 22:17a The Spirit and Bride are now saying, "Come!" The ones who hear are now saying, "Come!" The ones who thirst are now saying, "Come!" Come LORD Jesus !

Because the "christian" we have in the White House, who lives and governs like an atheist, has done such a bang up job. Sad to say but an uber conservative atheist would be a far better POTUS than a "christian" of the jeremiah wright vintage we have now hands down.

Well, we've already elected a secular humanist - the current occupier of the White House - who gives lip service to being a Christian (if he's a Christian, then I'm a purple giraffe with pink polka dots), so don't we basically have an atheist in that position? In answer to the question, I probably would not vote for an atheist because, unfortunately, most of them are also liberal Democrats.

I was thinking he governs more as a Palestinian.

I would have to disagree with all of you. He governs like a Muslim who hates this country and wants to destroy it. Of course IMHO I think he IS a Muslim.

As for voting for an athesist, like Buzz said, I'm looking for a commander in chief not a pastor in chief.
