    Default scanning QR codes with your phone

    Ive never had a "smart" phone until now. How do you scan these codes with your phone, I don't get it.

    You will probably need to download a scanner app for the phone. Mine didnt come with one built-in.

    The Android market has many QR readers/scanners. Most of them are free. I use one put out by Norton anti-virus. It scans the code and then checks the web site to see if it's safe. I know Androids don't have a real problem with viruses but they do have issues with spyware. That's enough for me to have something protecting my phone. As for Apple i'm sure that they have scanners too but I don't know any details about Apple and I don't want to. I'm not a big Apple fan.
