Yeah, you can find free downloads online, too.

" I have had an increasing burden to engage in some down and dirty, street evangelism." March 6, 2010

Isaiah 6:8 I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “ Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?”

Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”

    Matthew 22:9 NIV
'So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’

    I'm praying for you daily!
    I get my Bibles here

that's a good idea, if the excuse were valid! He reads plenty, just not the Bible. If he really wants to, he will.

I would encourage you to continue to pray over it, and continue to try to get your husband to crack open that bible to see if your concerns are unfounded. That to me is the ultimate answer, to prod him to be a Berean and search the scriptures to find out whether what you're saying or what this church is saying is true.
I'm with HIE on this one. My wife is saved, born again, and spirit filled. But she prefers a church that doesn't teach a pre-trib rapture but otherwise has some excellent Bible-based teaching. She also works every other weekend and I'll attend church elsewhere. When "our" church teaches something wrong, we pull out the Bible and discuss it. In fact, I do the same with the pastor but he's not nearly as receptive.

There's not a man-made denomination on earth today that is 100% right on every doctrinal issue - none. The color of the carpet is not worth causing trouble in your marriage or even a disagreement being resolved in an un-Biblical way. Stay in the Word, pray, and gently show him where some teachings may not be in line with what the Word says. Respect the position God has put you in. And thank God for your husband's salvation!
    Regards,

color of carpet? We are not fighting over our issue which is much deeper than color of carpet, it's IHOP and calvinism. I wanted to seek advice here so we wouldn't start fighting. I actually am praying that my husband will be saved.

HurryUpJesus, have you found a few churches that you'd like to try that has sound Biblical doctorine?

Not yet Robin! I have to set aside some time to get online and look at church websites, I need to do that ASAP.
