Today on Yahoo there was a report about police stepping up surveillance due to people stealing items and selling them on the black market here in the US. Tide detergent is well over ten dollars a jug, and this is the hottest item on the street right now. Soaring prices and soaring unemployment lead people to desparate measures.

I had no idea. I use Sun and it's $2.50 for a large box that lasts me over a week. The dryer sheets I get are 82 cents. My Mother uses expensive detergents and softeners but I can't tell the difference between my laundry and hers.

I've been making home made detergent. ...One cup Borax and one cup washing soda, and a shredded bar of Fels Naptha. Store it in a jar. Only use two tablespoons per large load. I got the recipe from the internet, and it works great!

It upset me and scared me for our country and our children. The only places in this world where you find a man's image on their flag are communist, fascist, or state sponsored capitalists (new word for communism). Things are way past the serious point here in the US, refer to the post concerning our military under the rule of NATO and the UN, and NOT Congress. NDAA, which Obama signed into law on New Year's Eve, makes it legal for any American citizen, here or abroad, to be taken into custody without charges, held indefinitely without legal counsel and executed.

If we do not step up for our country, then we will have no one to blame but ourselves. May the Lord have Mercy.

Obama's image on the flag would be a good anti Obama slogan for the Republican party as long as they put a line slashing through that image.
