I've seen some threads on the ac but none on false prophet. Can y'all give opinions or whatever and whatnot or Scripture about him?

The AC will be a political figure where as the false prophet will be a religious leader who gets the worlds apostate religions to recognize the governmental authority of the AC. The two will be a team and will work together. I believe this false prophet could very likely be a pope. The catholic church has been getting more and more involved in making the case for world government and world solutions to social problems that plague the world. The pope recently even made the case for a world financial system, after the near economic collapse. In revalations it talks of this harlot religion and even gives the colors she (another indication of the catholic church's worship of the virgin mary) is adorned in. Read about the harlot that rides the beast, drunk with the blood of the saints, and the colors she is adorned in. The great delusion that will infect the world after the rapture could be the lie that this false prophet helps spread that explains away the rapture as a necessary step for the world to move forward. The murder of the tribulation believers could be what is being described here with this harlot drunk with the blood of the saints. Remember, it says that the day will come when those who kill believers will believe that they are doing the work of God. I am not saying that current members of the catholic church aren't saved , or are conspirators, just that some future pope or leader in that church could fit the bill. If you think about it, it would be impossible to have a world government,and a world financial system without a world religious system also. There are some who make the case that the false prophet will be a jew, or even a muslim. Rome being such a central theme to the AC system and the catholic church makes the case for me. All theories and opinions should be backed up by scripture. Read your bible and make up your own mind.

I tried to start one on the FP sometime ago and it never got anywhere. Anyway from what I can gather out of Revelation is that he will be instrumental in the worship of the AC during the Great Tribulation. I am not sure he will have anything to do with the world religion prior to that. But he will institute the mark of the beast. I really can't gleen much more about him.

[11] No End Times Date Setting, Date Speculating, Date Framing, Date Suggesting, Date Alerts, or designating specific Peace Treaties or feasts as the main event of the Rapture or Second Coming. No quoting from others on date setting future events such as the fall of Damascus, Gog/Magog, the Rapture, the Second Coming, the Millennium, Peace Covenants, feasts, etc.... or speculations on who will be the Antichrist, False Prophet, or Gog. This includes linking to sites and books that also speculate and throw out dates based upon Blood Moon, Rash Hashanah, and other events. Do not set Date Alerts and speculations that even hint of date setting, nor posting from date setting preachers. We have already heard the "know the season argument". Matthew 24:36 Mark 13:32
