The liberals are happy because Obama's opponent is a Northeastern RINO. The GOP establishment is happy because they got their moderate candidate. The ones not happy are the Reagan Conservatives who's voice was silenced and ignored throughout the process. This will be 2008 all over again.

Agreed. I'm seriously thinking about voting a blank ballot for POTUS. If push comes to shove, I'd rather have four more years of Obama followed with someone like Ronald Reagan than eight years of Romney, followed by another candidate in the mold of McCain/Romney, followed by yet another....you get the picture. And that's what we'll get unless we send the Establishment a clear message that they ignore conservatives at their peril. As long as our rallying cry boils down to, "Well, he's not quite as bad as the other guy!" I think we're unlikely to defeat the Democrats as it is.

The trouble with choosing the lesser of two evils is that it is still an evil.

I agree! I believe whether Romney or Obama are elected they will both take us down the same path. If push comes to shove I will vote for Romney but I will leave tears stains on my ballot because they are both bad for the country and both lead us to the same place. Lord help us!

Yeah, I as going to vote for him too, but they changed the Texas primary from April to May for some reason...gerymandering or something...Well, I knew from the start I might have to support 'Mitt the Mormon' over 'Obama the Muslim' so I guess it has come to that. I too hope(as someone else said) that he has enough sense to select a conservative running mate. It makes a big difference, look how Sarah Palin boosted John McCain.

On this forum, most of us agree that we are in "the last times"!! From a "worldly-view" we can't expect things to improve. From a "Heavenly-view", things couldn't be better.

As we see the world in an economic meltdown, heading toward "apocalyptic" wars, leaning toward a "new world order", and yearning for a "world leader" we know what "season" we are in; and we won't have much longer to wait to be "rescued" from this Godless and sinful world.

We haven't "finished" the race, so we must persevere and continue to witness and live for Him. Don't be discouraged, GOD IS IN CONTROL!!! We must NOT "bail out", we must do what is right while we are here.
We need to prepare our hearts, we could face serious persecution in the next few years, but it won't last long and our reward is waiting for us.

I just want to encourage you to Read your Bibles and Pray; witness to everyone you can and never forget the promise Jesus made:
Mat 28:19-20 "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

    God Bless, Dan

Well, with Gingrich having no money left and probably dropping out soon, it's going to be a 2 person race with half the delegates left, it's far from over.

I am saddened to see Rick leave the race, however deep inside I knew it was coming and there is no election worth chasing when you have a child who needs you. Family first. I stand behind Rick and will continue to do so, as that is where God has led me in my heart. I will not compromise in this election. I listened to a Christian Radio Program yesterday that spoke of the word "Compromise" and that we as Christians cannot let compromise into our hearts in spiritual matters. Compromise is a tool the Satan uses to get us onto his side. When God has spoken to your hearts and has led you by his will, going against that will, even a little against it, is akin to letting Satan in. Moses never compromised with Pharoah when asked to leave his peoples wealth in Egypt (livestock etc), and I will not compromise in this election. I cannot vote against one evil by voting for another evil. When the blind lead the blind they both fall in the ditch. God's will be done. I will exercise my right to vote, I will not sit out, but will be led by the Holy Spirit to vote as God sees fit.

I believe Rick will still appear on the Primary Ballot in PA. Its a bit late to change that, so my vote will still go to him.

I live just outside the Fredericksburg area on some land, and there are days that I walk outside and just bask in the beauty of the countryside. God created a beautiful earth for us to enjoy and the glorifiy him in. Being a history buff I love the area I live in. Pa is absolutely beautiful too!

I have contributed to and will probably vote for Ron Paul in the primary. Not because I agree with all of his positions, because I don't. But because, based upon his track record, he is probably the only candidate in the race who will actually make a serious attempt to do everything that he campaigns about doing and not fold up like a wet noodle at the first sign of opposition....

He is not in the race, he is running in place. Why fold when you're not going anywhere?

He has 0% chance of being elected, therefore he has 0% chance of getting his agenda passed.

2012 is no longer about getting a conservative into the White House, it's about getting a communist out. I don't want to vote for Romney but I will because four more years of Obama will be the final nail in the coffin. What good will it do if you can say, "Well, I voted for Ron Paul" as you're being marched in front of a panel of people who get to decide whether or not you can have surgery? A "Ron Paul 2012" bumper sticker won't do any good when we can't afford to put gas in our cars.

I want to write in Jesus on the ballot because I'm ready for Him to govern, I'm tired of man's corruption.
