True story...
Back in the 50's, my uncle and three of his friends took their cars out for a little race on the back country roads outside Yakima, Washington.
After about 5 miles into the race, my uncle, who was leading the pack, spotted the glow of a police car in his rear mirror. The police car passed his other three friends, who had pulled over, and got behind my uncle's car.
My uncle pulled over and was ticketed for speeding. With ticket in hand, my uncle asked the police officer why he gave him the ticket and not one of his friends. The officer replied, "You won, didn't you?"
