Planned Parenthood launches ‘40 Days of Prayer’ for abortion

EUREKA, California, April 11, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Although Planned Parenthood has frequently complained of pro-life prayer vigils - particularly the biannual 40 Days for Life Campaign - one California Planned Parenthood affiliate seems to have chosen an unusually direct way of countering such efforts.

Last month, Six Rivers Planned Parenthood (SRPP) of Eureka, California, launched a campaign called the 40 Days of Prayer: Supporting Women Everywhere. The campaign, as noticed by Liberty Counsel, lists 40 different prayers for those involved in the “sacred care” of abortions to continue protecting, providing, and embracing the procedure - including mothers, escorts, abortionists, and everyone involved except the unborn children.

good thing is, we know God won't "hear" these supposed prayers. He will give them over to themselves, but He won't grant their petition to murder the unborn with no consequences.

My opinion on abortion is that the entire industry is driven by greed. All too sadly, there's a lot of money to be made in murdering unborn children. Politicians who support it get the votes of people who are beyond understanding of what it is they are supporting. They gain political power and money always seems to accompany political power.

The Bible plainly states "The love of money is the root of all evil" (1 Timothy 6:10). These foolish abortionists are praying to be rewarded for their greed and to be able to continue to murder children, innocents made in the image of the Most High God! I know He will not bless their prayers. I'm just wondering how long it will be before He loses His patience and unleashes His wrath? He is not fooled by a prayer calling abortions 'sacred' and making it sound like this is a good thing for women.

The United States has truly fallen from His grace. The overwhelming amount of sins of all types, especially sexual, prevalent here is proof. The sin of murder is horrendous enough, but to refer to it as something sacred is blasphemy!! His patience is amazing and far reaching, but not without its limits. I think the multiple large earthquakes yesterday are an example of how short His patience is getting. I really feel that the only reason the US hasn't yet experienced a major disaster, one so big that it would turn us into a third world country such as a total collapse of our economy, the eruption of the Yellowstone Volcano or a 8.0 or above earthquake on the New Madrid fault line is because He doesn't want to punish the righteous along with the guilty. Once the rapture happens, that will no longer be a restraint upon Him.

These wicked people praying to Him for the continuation of slaughter of innocents should be afraid. They're calling one of the most evil of sins something good and necessary and asking Him to bless their unholy pursuit. I see great punishment coming for some of these people. If they knew Who they were truly praying to to continue in this wicked, evil sin, some would repent, others would die out of fear. Abortion and homosexuality are 2 of the most horrible of sins because these two sins directly attack the very image of God! It makes parts of Daniel and Revelation so much more understandable. No wonder He is going to allow such great tribulation that is going to affect the entire world. It is truly what evil, wicked, sinful men deserve. How much further can we fall? Satan must be really overjoyed! He hates God and His image. This is a win-win for Satan. He convinces fools to destroy the image of God, young, unborn innocents, and gets the souls of their murderers in hell with him for eternity, to torment them forever without end.

I'm so sorry Lord that we've allowed the world You made to turn against You, our Holy Creator. Please Lord, make it stop.

I live in Fortuna, CA and work in Eureka, Ca. This sickened me. It hurts my soul to know this is happening in my community. I feel or local churches have not responded outside of the congregation. Yes, they participated in "40 Days for Life", but have yet to respond to this gross apostasy. I'm trying to understand the idle hands. This made national news so its not like we can give more attention. God would want us to respond, no? Elijah was sent to correct the child sacrifices and defeat Murdak. Shouldn't we do our job as believers? I'm frustrated with this. Please pray for the California North Coast.

I am disgusted. I just realised that I have been a couch believer for a long time. I am repenting of this right now. I want to be the one heard screaming up on the watchtower and lighthouse when Jesus returns. Foul! Murder! God please help us all.
