Is presentationfontcache just saying "hi, neighbor" or what?
It seems right after I start up, but only then, presentationfontcache.exe is reported as showing high CPU usage by my Norton antivirus. I ignore it but since my computer was running sloer (a reboot oddly fixed it) i finally went into the Norton system to see hwo things were workign and just what it was. Everything seems fine as far as memory usage normally, so but when I did a wesearch for it it came back with a variety of pages saying it was eitheer unnecessary to Windows 7 or very important or something inb etween.
I don't erally need to disable it, everything else works well and it only warns me at the start, but I would be curious to know what int he world it does anyway.
Thanks.
