Canon camera help

I have a Canon Powershot S2 IS that recently went on the fritz. It said change batteries. So, I did. And it still said change batteries. Put in MORE new ones. Still says change batteries. Has anyone had this problem, or know what the problem might be? I miss my camera!

I think you MIGHT just have solved my problem! Genius! I never even knew that battery existed. I pulled it out and jiggled it a little, put it in again, and the camera stayed on for about 5 shots, then died again. Before it wouldn't even go live...just the change battery message. I'll have to get a new one of those. Thanks!!
