Default Ridley Scott's new movie Prometheus

I've really enjoyed the Alien series before I became a believer and Ridley Scott has a new movie out which is supposed to be a prequel to the first Alien movie. Guess what? It's about the origin of the human race and how we were created by a giant Alien species, who also happened to have made the original Alien. I'm surprised but not surprised at the same time. There is so much satanic messaging in these movies that I just never saw before. But is now as clear as day. Can't they just make a movie to watch without trying to displace God for a change?

The evil one has a wide open playground when it comes to movies. He will
use that media for all it is worth to deceive, lie and lead astray as many as
he can, before his end comes and he is thrown into the pit. And that's how
his movie ends. We even get to watch it.

    Very true.

Just watching the trailer for the movie gave me nightmares.

I realized that's what it was about when I saw the statue of human heads in the trailer. I think it has to do with the sumerian tablets or whatever. It's interesting but ridiculous.

I was curious tonight if anyone had really talked about or seen this movie here in the forum (since there is all this hype about today about releasing it to Blue-Ray)

I saw the movie and thought that they "borrowed" from some of Scripture to try and explain the reason for the "giants of old". Noting the size of the aliens. Yep the father of lies was very busy trying to rewrite actual history.

    Jackie,

I thought so too, about the giants of old, my first thoughts were Nephalim in relation to the movie's protagonists, the Engineers.

What I found interesting was the level of Christian overtures in this movie (the lead character is the daughter of missionary parents), as well as what I thought to be Ridley Scott's views on life itself, which seem to be neither creationist nor evolutionist but rather directed panspermia.
