On the op, Newsweek is very liberal, I am surprised that anyone there thought this would be helpful for the President, but maybe they are so ensconsed in group think, they aren't aware how the majority of the country feels....

I also think the comments I've read various places in regards to Black Churches are interesting... Alot of those folks, are pretty conservative when it comes to social issues, and I wonder if the WH isn't pushing it a bit too far in asking folks to abandon deeply held beliefs on sexual morality, in order to support the President.

What I was getting at is after seeing Prop 8 voted down in a liberal state yet O says he is pro gay marriage to me look like a self-defeating move. Maybe he isn't supposed to win, or something coming down the pike which may cause the elections to be cancelled. I don't know, but his revelation seems like an extremely poor campaign move, given the small % of the populace that are gay.
Maybe I'm just expecting them to have better judgement than the left is capable of, given their outright rejection of God.

On the one hand, in the real world, 32 our of 32 states have voted down gay marriage laws. People do NOT want it.

On the other hand, in Hollywood and other fictitious places, being gay is really cool. All the hippest people are either gay, bisexual, or at least affirming of homosexuality.

I agree. The devil has a strong foothold on the world right now as in the days when the tower of babel was built. I believe the coming election might be fixed so that mr. despot can keep control (it is what the devil wants). He's hoping that he can get his far left support base to get him through this election since he is losing the swing vote (independents) who got him into office back in 08. If we can hang on to the swing vote we can get Romney in.

This is our only opportuntity to preserve this country. If we fail to win the election along with some congressional seats, then we lose the republic because our economic system will tank - these evil progressives have no intention of fixing anything. This can't be emphasized enough.

Progressives pay lip service to believing in God while embracing and celebrating everything He calls unholy. But America's descent didn't happen overnight. JMHO, but I think 0's coming out for the gay vote is based on the money. There's a lotta dollars in hollywood and it's ilk doesn't mind giving to pols when it will push their agenda.
