    Love it stewed in diet lemonade to use with custard or in crumbles with apple. Yum. Also had it made into a sort of jam at an up-market coffee shop servedon warm scones with cream as part of their winter menu. Yummo!!!! (Trying to type this around my cat who is determined to squeeeze intothe space between keyboard and screen )

    My old neighbor once was so proud of the fact that she had wild rhubarb growing in her yard. She washed it, chopped it, made homemade crust, put it into a pie. She made the pie for her mother who had stopped by, her mom asked if she could get some of the wild rhubarb growing in her yard. So my neighbor took her mom out back and showed her the lovely patch of rhubarb.............only it wasn't rhubarb....... it was a weed. Thankfully her mom told her before they ate the pie.

    I just planted two rhubarb roots. I wish it didn't take so long to grow them before I can harvest it!

    I remember my grandmother making rhubarb pie when I was young. It was my favorite.
    Psalm 30:11-12 (New King James Version)

    11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
    You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,
    12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent.
    O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever.
