    Rhubarb Pate'

Carefully position mid sized tractor (18-30 hp) so that Right rear wheel is parked directly on top of rhubarb
(turf tires work best, industrial tread may require repeat process, cleated will damage yard but allow better root blend).

Set PTOs to Neutral, Rear trans to High.

Engage clutch and split rear brake. Disengage diff lock if your tractor is so equipped.

    Advance throttle to 1800rpm

While depressing LH brake pedal, abruptly release clutch allowing disengaged wheel to spin free.

Rhubarb will be instantly reduce to the consistancy of grease.

Allow to dry then mow over to blend in with trimmings.

Repeat process if you miss one. Process is identicle for burdock, poke berry, paradise tree, and giant thistle.

Come on, Wally, you don't really mean this. You can't possibly want to kill the rhubarb; you just haven't found the 'right' recipe.

    Here, try this: http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2...ubarb-cobbler/

Do you have chokoes in the US (a green vegetable)? I think they might be called chayote there. When my son was a child he said it was called a choko because it tasted so bad it made you choke.
    Hey, Dad......ARE WE THERE YET?

Well it looks like a pear shaped avacado (another veggie suitable as a catapult projectile) but I have not seen them in stores here yet.

    Thanks for the warning.

    RHUBARB CUSTARD PIE

    2 eggs
    1 1/2 cup sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
4 cups rhubarb, sliced thin, crosswise
    1 Tbsp butter or oleo

Beat egg slightly. Mix sugar, flour and salt into eggs, stir rhubarb into mixture. pour into a prepared pie shell, dot with butter. Cover with pastry shapes from another pie shell, using a cookie cutter. Brush top with milk and sprinkle with a little bit of sugar. Bake 45-55 minutes in a preheated 375 degree oven....or until rhubarb is tender. Yum-Yum.
So out of this world? You sound like Paula Deen!! Im gettin' ready to make this recipes in the next day or two, once I can find some rhubarb. I didn't see it in Kroger, my local grocery store. Maybe Walmart?

    You don't like our strawberries???
If so, we must keep all the best ones here, and ship the 'rejects' out to the rest of the country
And yes, I do love rhubarb, in any and every way imaginable!
