Furthermore, I would like to note that the events around Christ's birth, death and resurrection were NOT unnoticed by the world at large. Reading the things which occurred as they are written in the Gospels, there are great crowds and earthquakes mentioned, for just 2 examples. In other words, the world knew something happened. That combined with the miracles of Jesus and the travels and preaching of the Apostles alerted millions to the truth over time, and the state government of the empire found it's spiritual devices slipping. They were very old spiritual devices too, going back through the empires which preceded Rome, back to the first empire, the original corporation, Babylon.

As the priests and social engineers behind the cults of the gods watched helplessly, the truth of Jesus Christ swept the world through the dusty trade routes of pagan commerce and the cosmopolitan tendencies of the citizenry helped fan the torch of love across the globe. The trappings of the old gods, the masks and rotten traditions of fallen angels in disguise; began to collapse.

I bring this up because the cults around these forces were tied unbendingly to the political elite of the day. And an observation of the time scale for the rise of "alternative traditions" of Christianity reveals that the Gnostic movement emerged in response to the preaching of the Apostles. In other words, I am submitting to you that Gnosticism began as a deliberate attempt by the leaders of the pagan cults to change the opinion of Jesus from a personal Savior and coming King of the Universe towards that of a mystical initiator of higher truths. They were attempting to redefine Christ in a way which fit the traditions around the control mechanisms of their own cults. They wanted to sprinkle in some Dionysus, some Mithra, and a whole lot of ancient magic, so that the people would see it as just another addition to the already existing plethora of lascivious mythologies and Hellenistic mnemonics of their society. In other words, the rise of Gnosticism and the lying traditions around alternative interpretations of Christ was actually POLITICAL in nature.

So for the elite is was about control. For satan it was about one thing only: covering up the fact that Jesus is the personal Saviour and nullifying the message of redemption by His blood, and turning Him into "just another sage, magus or mystic among many". As an interesting parallel, the Jesus our sitting president seems to believe in is just like the one taught by the sect of Gnostics known as the Cainites, who glorified adultery, homosexuality and murder.

Now that is EXACTLY what is happening today. Inside much of the mainstream church you will find bloated salesmen of hades working to "bring together many faiths and increase understanding". The abomination of "chrislam" is one of these efforts. These people simply want to stay in power, they know the day of darkness is near, and rather than give up everything for Jesus Christ in the hour of oppression and suffer like a minority they strive to build a new form of religion and suck their flocks into it, one which ACCEPTS all the lies and sins of false faiths, rather than condemn them. And then there is the issue of the state. The Empire! Obedience to the laws of tyrannical men must be made! And we know that for the state today, to proclaim the truth of Jesus Christ as the ONE TRUE GOD while denouncing all others is "hate speech".

As for satan, he is simply playing the same old game, trying to cover up the fact that his kingdom was blown to bits 2,000 years ago at the cross by lying about the one who did it.

In fact, this same distortion was attempted against the first covenant. Following intense exposure to Babylonian Mythology and the teachings of the Magi, the Hebrews developed their own heresies, known popularly today as the collective umbrella of Kabala. Just as in the garden, the enemy did not decide to just walk up to the ancient Hebrews or the first Christians and say that the scriptures or the teachings were lies, he merely whispered, "hath God truly said...". In other words, is that what the Bible really says? Aren't there things lost or mistranslated? The prince of this world is a lot like the mainstream media. When he cannot cover up something which challenges his authority and stranglehold on what you believe, he begins to spin it and lie about it to distort what it actually means.
