Who makes our rapture gowns?

Ok, I was talking to Jesus and trying to get to sleep. I had to get up, quick restroom break. Guess what topic I ended up talking to Him about? I just have to ask or it'll be hard to get to sleep tonight.

The gowns. After the rapture we will get white gowns, correct? Well, since we'll have physical bodies like Jesus it will be physical cloth, right? If so here's some questions.

1.Who makes the gowns? If it's the angels I wonder how long it takes them. Can you imagine how long it takes them with a needle and thread

2.Where do they get the fabric?

Interesting question, Snoopy. Linen is made from the flax plant. I wonder if verse 11 in Isaiah 61 might hint at flax plants growing in heaven as the source of the fabric. Angels making them seems logical. You inspired me to search out some verses:


Isaiah 61:10-11 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

Rev 19:7-8 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Rev 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

Rev 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Rev 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

Rev 7:13-14 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

I just figured God made them, if He can speak the universe into existence our robes probably didn't take too much thought.

Oh dear. Linen wrinkles so badly. I hope there are irons available. I'm glad they'll be already made and I won't have to make my own. It would look more like a sack than a gown/robe.

I'm a little worried. I don't think I could wear a white robe for longer than 5 minutes before I got it dirty.
