This is coming from an Indian member of the General Secretary of All India Congress Committee whose economy (India) is in tatters currently with the S&P rating agency threatening it could be downgraded to below investment grade.

Hisar (Pb), Jun 11 (PTI) Rajya Sabha member and General Secretary of All India Congress Committee, Birender Singh, has favoured a new global economic order to ensure economic parity among countries. Speaking at a function held here last evening on the occasion of Kabir Jayanti, he said it was "painful" that one per cent of the world population controlled 17 per cent of the planet's natural resources. "Developed nations are thriving at the cost of developing nations," he said. Economic parity between the world's population could never be created under such circumstances and the remedy lies in setting a new world economic order with equitable control over natural resources, he said.

Ahmadinejad to SCO: Regional integration would help create new world order

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that the promotion of regional integration among members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) would help create a “new world order”.

Ahmadinejad made the remarks during a speech at the SCO summit in Beijing on Thursday.

He said that the expansion of economic, cultural, and political ties among the SCO member states and the establishment of monetary and financial institutions outside the dominance of hegemonistic powers would definitely help independent countries to establish a mechanism for a “just world order” and to come through “current unfavorable situation.”

“We all want to change the world to a better and lovelier one,” he said, adding that “inefficient and discriminatory system,” which is dominating the globe, has led the world to face economic crises.

He went on to say that the economic crises will lead to social and political crises.

Ahmadinejad, at the head of a high-ranking delegation, arrived in China on Tuesday evening to attend the SCO summit meeting, which opened on Wednesday and closed on Thursday.

The SCO is an intergovernmental security organization that was founded in 2001 in Shanghai by the leaders of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

Have you ever noticed when putting a puzzle together, as you get down to the last few pieces it becomes so much more apparent where they fit?
There is an economic and political crisis throughout the world. It is causing a demand for "unity" ~~ "one-world-order". Of course with the development of a "world-government" will be the need for a "supreme - leader". There is also greater pressure to not favor one religion over another. You must NOT "offend" anyone!
BTW - I read that Putin will be meeting with Ahmadinijad there in China. I'm sure the two of them, along with the leaders of China, will be discussing Iran's "nuclear-capability", and most likely plotting against Israel.
I'm also certain Netanyahu and Israel will see all of this as a threat, and they don't need much more incentive to do something about it!
All of this reminds me of something ~~ Oh, I think I've read about this in the Bible! You see, Our God made the puzzle and all the pieces and knows exactly how it will turn out. I'll bet it never occurred to these "leaders", that God is "using" them to bring about His plan! I thought I'd never live to see these days but it beats any World-Series or Superbowl in history. It even makes it more exciting when you know what the final score will be!
