I skimmed it on Google Books, awhile back, and liked the parts I read over fairly quickly (of the pages that were available to read there). I think it has a publication date of May 2012, so yes, I guess it must be new.

I'm sorry to change the topic but since these two men were mentioned I was wondering if anyone here subscribes to their Pre-Trib Monthly Newsletter. I was just wondering when it usually comes out each month. I subscribed May 27th and have yet to recieve anything and e-mails are going un-answered. Thanks!

I purchased that book last week via Sam's Club; so far I think it's great! I've read about 50% of the book and it seems quite Biblically sound. My ONLY red flag was the chapters Tim LaHaye wrote, as he states that ALL who are left behind in the Rapture will receive another chance to accept Christ and be saved. I was under the impression that The Lord placed a "strong delusion" upon those who had already rejected Christ in this life.

I did give thought to other groups of people that don't fall under that "category", but Tim LaHaye does state that ALL will be given another chance. Other than that part, I have found the book to be very good.

I believe the Bible says that their will be a very big harvest of believers during the tribulation.

Sea Shelly, do you have any specific examples? I'd be interested to know in which way he might be "off track," exactly. Thanks.
(By the way, I thought pages 157-170 [by him, if I recall rightly] were "spot on"... the particular subject covered therein. But as mentioned before, I didn't have access to every page of the book online.)

ETA: I have not read his "Left Behind" fictional series (in which, as I understand it, he takes a bit of creative license[?]), but I'm more interested in how he might be "off track" in the root (underlying) doctrinal positions (even pertaining to eschatology), on which he based the series, and/or in his other material. Thanks.

Oooh, I might have to put this one on the list. I just finished Book 2 of the series LaHaye is co-authoring with Craig Parshall. It's another end-times series; it's fiction, but it is very current. Good stuff!

Thanks for the heads-up about this book.

I think you might be talking about the "Apocalypse"series. It is fiction.I did not care much for it.I have read 2 books out of the series. The first one was better than the 2nd.Although you might love it.

Yep, that is the series I am reading. I like them so far. I liked how the second one ended. I guess I have to wait for the next one.

I guess I am missing where LaHaye is off-track on his theology in the above links. They are all the same story, and it sounds like he disassociated himself from the controversy. Am I missing something else?
