I definitely agree that we should share the gospel with those who need to be saved. The 2 Mormon's were an opportunity that came along at our garage sale last Saturday. Just thought I would let you all know we saw those 2 Mormon's I witnessed to at the grocery store today. The one that did all the talking last Saturday asked how we are? I said, "fine & how are you?" Their bikes were sitting outside on the sidewalk as you go in the door. I know it was their's because after we got in our car they were getting on their bikes.

    Aha!

I knew the bikes would appear at some point.

Its great you shared with them, as the Spirit led, which is always the goal.
Its not anything we do, its all about Him and His timing.
Don't panic! Just be Rapture Ready.

    Joel 3:2

I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land.

I would like to hear what others think about giving them a drink of water.
Mormon children study a certain country and language and when they graduate from high school, they go on a mission. Some go abroad and other go on a mission here. Their purpose is to convert you to Mormonism. I worked for a Mormon doctor and his wife and took care of her mother. She had an apartment downstairs and the family and (10 kids) visited a lot. I grew to love the kids and their parents. I dearly loved the MIL and we had many talks about God. When she died, I mourned the loss of a good friend. The family invited me to the private memorial for her. They respected me and never tried to convert me.

That is not to say that I believe Mormons are anything but a cult, because they are. So, inviting them in could have led to you being ministered to. I think you probably did best and gave them water to drink outside which was a signal that you would not be receptive to being converted to Mormonism.

One day, several years ago, I came home from buying fireworks and found several Mormons sitting around in my front room.

I was not happy. My husband was curious.

They didn't come back, and I declined the Book or Mormon they tried to give me.

How come I never saw the cults when I lived in the ghetto?
