    Default Angelic religions from hell

interestingly, one of these days where the mall catering all sorts of false religions are everywhere. here through my observations, i see satan's soul crushing pattern of orchestrating angel based religions. i have observed compared and contrast three of the most fatal cults in existence.

    1. islam - an angel based religion allegedly revealed by an "angel" claiming to be gabriel to muhammad teaching him that allah is the one and only God and martyrdom is the road to instant assurance to paradise justifying every means to meet their ends. have a strong hatred on israel and jews. regarded the bible as corrupt and incomplete with jesus simply a minor prophet.

    2. mormonism - a cult allegedly revealed by moroni an angel towards joseph smith. mormonism teaches that God is once a man who became a God which he is now and all of us can become God. it teaches salvation by church membership to the mormon church which they believed continues the first century christians. also teaches baptism of the dead and performs secret rituals copied from freemasonry. it advocates polygamy.

    3. iglesia ni cristo - a cult originated from the philippines, it stresses the importance of the teachings and interpretation also the revelation of Felix Y. Manalo, who claimed to be the prophesized Revelation 7 angel, the angel of the far east. it teaches that the iglesia ni cristo is a church continuation from the ancient christian church whom disappeared in the first century and onwards. it teaches that membership in the church, salvation by works, constant attendance and tithing might bring a person to heaven. more importantly, it teaches Christ is only a man not divine. followers worship christ even as a man because God says so.

more information about the iglesia ni cristo from letusreason.org and thebereans.net, a site doing ministry to former philippino cult members and debating aberrant preachers.

additionally roman catholic church - largest religion in the world whom stresses the teachings of the apparition of mary as true teaching and final authority than the bible.

    Don't forget the JW's.

They believe Jesus is Michael. They believe an angel is the mediator (for the 144,000 who the rest gets benefits from).

And, if you look closely enough Jesus can't be Michael even in their own theology. If Jesus didn't have a spirit according to them than what happened after He died? What resurrected (or to them was recreated)? If Jesus couldn't have resurrected according that logic than why is an angel now the "mediator"? If Jesus was just a man on earth according to them than He couldn't be an angel. And, if He's still dead, which they said so themselves http://www.towertotruth.net/is_jesus_dead.htm and there's no such thing as an immortal spirit/soul than Jesus is non-existent right now. Like I've heard Michael faked the bodies and lied saying he was Jesus if that's the case. Why than is some angel in Heaven supposly getting the glory for something he never did (died for mankinds' sins)?

They also believe Jehovah created Michael as "a god" and made everything else through him. Wow, talk about angel worship...

Speaking of angel worship...if they truely believe Jesus is Michael (like they say they do) than they worshipped an angel for they used to worship Jesus. It was even in the older NWT until they changed it (it was in the book of Hebrews).

Wait a minute, moroni the angel? That's a red flag right there considering the Bible doesn't even mention a moroni.

I was born into that. They believe that angels are "God's thoughts passing to man" but do not believe in actual angels, demons, the Deity of Jesus, matter, satan, sin or medicine. It's very bizarre and lawless and there is astounding discord and chaos in the private lives of CS adherents. There has been a massive increase of homosexuality in that religion. When I was struggling with my own belief in christian science in the early 90's I had a dream that I was standing in the basement of the original church that MBE had built in Boston (I had been a security guard for that church in the 1984 and had been down there a few times) and when I looked up the entire church was just a shell of a building. I'll never forget it. (Mods, sorry about the dream info. Please edit it out if it's not OK to include here.)

I just heard on "Parables" (on NRB) that Keith Green (1953-82) was Jewish but was brought up as a Christian Scientist. I was also brought up in Christian Science after my mother was diagnosed with MS. So there's hope for all. Jesus saves, no matter where you may be spiritually.
Rom. 8:19 For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God.
Rom. 8:28 God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

    Roman Catholisizm........?
    The "infallible" pope...
    I'd say it fits.
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn... Isaiah 54.17

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
    Psalm 91:7-8

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
    Romans 8:31

An aside re: the info you posted here:

I didn't know Jim Henson was a Christian Scientist. So sorry about your grandmother. My mother (who was brought up Lutheran but turned to CS after she got MS) was refused prayers by the First Reader when she had no more money to pay for them.

In my childhood, I went to Sunday school with a friend named Jessica, who died suddenly on Christmas. As children, we were never told what had happened to her, and I've wondered about that ever since, especially during the holidays. I recently learned that her younger brother (a toddler when I knew her) had grown the one-man, one-truck family WI moving company into an international business and died of a heart attack at age 53 in 2008. The obit was specific. He "went home to the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." He was a member of two Christian Bible churches in CO, and his family members, including a daughter named Jessica, are Christians--no longer CS! Praise the Lord!!

Every time I see one of their moving trucks on the road, I think of Jessica. I have to say it here that it is so heartening to hear of others coming out of CS, out of "there is no sin, only error--which is nothing because God is all, in all," and leading their families into the truth about Jesus and our need for redemption.

Goth Cult. A lot of our youth get tangled up in this. You've probably seen them dressed in all black with a bunch of metal stuff on their clothes. Those that dress the style may not understand what they're being led into, but those that do seek help and power from dark angels whom they consider to be good.
