623 Earthquakes above 4.0 in the last 30 days

In the last 30 days alone, there have been 630 earthquakes worldwide
with a magnitude of 4.0 or above. The Honshu hotspot has been quaking
daily since the one that caused the massive tsunami.

Wow! The Honshu fault line extends close to the shoreline of Tokyo. I read an article recently on Natgeo that seismologists are hoping that the earlier quake has relieved the tension down this line near Tokyo. There are alot of people who live in Tokyo--millions. Thanks for the info IAmHis.

I wonder if the west coast ... California and Oregon will be hit with an earthquake after the rapture? I keep thinking they should be hit soon since Japan, Indonesia, Chile, and New Zealand has been hit pretty hard within the last few years....It seems like they should be if you look at the map of the ring of fire.......

Looking at the iris earthquake map and the escalation of quakes during
recent weeks and months, you can see the Ring of Fire has become
hyperactive. Don't forget the recent spate of volcanic eruptions that
have occured as well. The earth groans indeed.

I was thinking the same thing - a 5.0 to me a decade ago would have been big. Now it seems like a regular occurrence.

Their has not been an aftershock less than 4.0 around Honshu area since the big one hit over a year ago.That's hard to live with on a daily basis..
