Listen to the words. This was a portion of Pastor Carter Conlon's sermon the Sunday following 9/11 at Times Square Church in NYC but he also encourages people to run from churches that are not being serious about the gospel of Jesus Christ.

What a great message, and delivered with such passion!![]()
Thank You so much for posting this. YSIC![]()
1 John 3:23 ~ And this is His commandment, That we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment.
Carter Conlon is the pastor who David Wilkerson asked to take over the leadership of his church he started. Of course that church has felt tremendous loss recently, yet joyful for his home coming.
That was so stirring. Great message!
Is anyone familiar with him? *Pastor of Times Square Church in New York
So, I take it no one knows Carter Conlon?I've only recently discovered him, and like listening to him, but hope he is biblically sound. I haven't heard him say anything to make me think otherwise.
Perhaps you could ask one of the mods to move your question to Apostacy, you might get more response there...or repost the question yourself there in a new thread??
I'm sorry...I don't have any info to share with you on him.
I listen to Carter Conlon every week.Especially lately. For awhile I stopped listening. I love Times Square Church. I live about almost two hours away from the city and haven't been down in over a year....if I had more time and $$ I would definitely go down more.
Never heard of him but since David Wilkerson chose him I'm wondering if he gives (false) prophecies too?
"...earnestly contend for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints." Jude 1:3b
Jesus + something = nothing
Jesus + nothing = Everything

I didn't mean his end-times beliefs but the *hearing special secrets* from God about stuff that never happened. I'm thinking he'd want someone similar to him in that regard and with the same theology.
We have info on Wilkerson here if you want to do a search. Interesting, troubling stuff.

I knew what you meant. I've seen references on here before about the problems with Wilkerson, which is actually why I've never sought out any of his sermons. I just mentioned eschatology and Conlon as an aside. I'm hoping that Conlon is a rapture believer. (and that his theology is sound)
