After re reading this... sounds like we are heading for war. If U.S. does something to Syria, Russia will attack. Im guessing before they attack, Mr. O will seize all of Russia assets. This will upset Russia enough to start war imo.
But this could also lead to martial law eventually.

It's all to do with a long term deal between US and Russia where the US pays Russia for the de-weaponised highly enriched uranium that is then used in US reactors. The signing of the EO is to ensure funds are available to continue this process......I thinkOriginally Posted by cbressler1976

Obama declares state of emergency
I just found out that President Obama has declared a state of national emergency. Here is a link to the announcement on the White House web site:

This is a very disturbing development because President Obama can now execute certain executive orders that are set in place for times of national emergency. It is also very disturbing that there is no mention of this in the mainstream news. If this is truly an emergency, why is there an absence of publicity about this?
If there is a real emergency, then the public needs to be made aware of it. If there is not really an emergency, then congress needs to step in to make sure the president does not abuse the authority of his office. In either case, a full, public explanation is necessary.
