    Default co-mingling of religions

Obama was raised as a muslem. Then he changed to a Christian. He thinks he can be both. Are we seeing something new . The co-mingling of the two religions. I know it can't be done but are there many who think it can. Look at Egypt and what the new leader is saying. And the Pope. Where are we headed if Jesus doesn't hurry back.

It's nothing new. I know an Episcopal "minister" who married a Hindu and are raising their kids in both "faiths". It's part of the "I'm okay, you're okay, we're all okay" movement much like that coexist bumper sticker.

Look at the old testament -- the Israelites were commanded to destroy the inhabiters of Israel when God gave it to them, but they left stragglers. Those stragglers kept their Ashora poles (sp?) and continued to worship their false God's leading to Israel's judgement before God again and again throughout the book of Judges.
"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment." (Matthew 22:37-38)

I think that different Religions can coexist in a society if they agree to tolerate each other.

I don't know what the President believes in his heart, so won't go there.

But you can't individually be both be a Christian, and a Jew, or a Muslim, or a Hindu. Christ was either the Messiah, or he wasn't. He either died on a cross for our sins, or he didn't. He either was resurrected, or he wasn't. I have no issue with a certain amount of cognitive dissonance in many areas of life, or even belief, but you shouldn't be called a Christian, unless you have a taken a clear position backing the fundamentals of our faith.

Of course, it is not my job to determine who is a Christian and who is not. That Judgment is our Lord's alone to make, but that is my lowly opinion on the matter for what it is worth.

God calls that adultery with the world.

You likely meant a follower of Judaism, but you can certainly be a Jew and a Christian.
Don't panic! Just be Rapture Ready.

    Joel 3:2

I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land.
