Mark 2:2 says, "And many were gathered together, so that there was no more room, not even at the door. And he was preaching the word to them."
Would He have been preaching the OT to them? I've read this verse before and never really considered it.

and to wait for his Son from heaven,
whom he raised from the dead—Jesus,
who rescues us from the coming wrath
1 Thessalonians 1:10
IMHO He was preaching both the Old Testament as well as the Good News. I can almost hear Him saying "come unto Me all ye who are heavy laden and I will give you rest". He would have preached the OT scripture and then explained it in a way no man could ever hope to do, such as He did in Luke 4:17-21.
My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; the flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; the fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
Baruch haba b'Shem Adonai!
That was kind of my thinking. I know in other places it's more specific--for example He was preaching repentance or about the kingdom.

Likely mainly OT. But whatever came from His mouth was literally the word of God. He was heralding a new covenant.
Don't panic! Just be Rapture Ready.
Joel 3:2
I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land.
