Here in SW Tennessee it is 96 degrees and still climbing. No chance of rain in sight unless Debby changes her course.

Please O God, turn Debby northward into the Tennessee valley. It is a stifling 98 degrees in northern Alabama today. The AC is huffing and puffing--so am I.

I wish that we could give you all some of our rain.... It's flooding in parts of Florida and I'm so sick of the rain... I haven't seen the sun in a while now...

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Yes,we have been experiencing rain here in Oregon and Washington.Weather in the 60's.I would not be surprised if we have very hot three digit numbers this summer though.

It was 101 with a heat index of 108 today in Joplin Mo. It was a record and the heat will be here all this week. My air conditioner hasn't shut off yet today. I sure hope it does get to tonight. I remember in the past years a few days here during the summer where we may have had a heat index of 101 but not an actual temp of that. Colorado is a beautiful state I sure hope the fires will be able to be stopped soon hopefully rain will fall. It looks like many states have this horrible heat even Michigan where I grew up has hot temps and it rarely ever got that hot except a few times in August. At my age this heat keeps me inside when I was younger I never cared plus it was rarely ever this hot but now it knocks me for a loop.

Come on out here! They are starting to contain the fire. Manitou Springs (big tourist spot) has allowed people to return home. The only variable still for the fire is the wind and God has allowed the winds to keep it from going towards populated areas. Not one building has been lost yet.

Coming again coming again maybe morning maybe noon maybe evening and maybe soon!
Coming again coming again O what a wonderful day it will be! Jesus is coming again!

I was also looking on a weather map today and noticed that the high 90s and low 100s were even as far north as Montana. I hope the rest of you in the other states don't have any fires. It sounds like many places are ready to burn up. May God protect us and have mercy on us all.

Don't know if folks have seen it on their news, but late this afternoon and this evening, we had very high winds here in CO, as a result, the fires in the Colorado Springs area exploded, and those which were once "forest fires" have now set residentual neighborhoods ablaze.

The fires are currently completely out of control. Please Pray for those who are affected, we are expecting more wind tomorrow.

    Mad We need your prayers!!!!

The winds took a turn for the worst. They started coming out of the west and the fire has come into the city. Homes are burning left and right. My father's neighborhood has been evacuated. I got him out before they issued the mandatory evacuation. He is elderly and recently suffered a minor stroke. I am putting him up for now and hope his neighborhood won't be part of the fire. This is of historic proportions here. We are getting things ready to leave our house too if the fire jumps over the Interstate. Your prayers would be greatly appreciated. We have 32,000 residents displaced. I cannot imagine the horrors of the tribulation.

I am in prayer for your families safety and for the safety of others in that area. I just read the news on this and was horrified. I put myself in your shoes (in my mind) and just could not imagine what you an so many others are going through. Please cling to the safety of Jesus!

Dear Lord - Please send heavenly hosts down to guide those in need and to protect the beautiful Colorade Springs area from this nightmare. Please bring rain and calm the winds Lord... All you have to do is say the word and all will simmer down... In Jesus name...

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me.... I just seen this on Fox news website. What a disaster unfolding there! Apparently the Colorado governor has described the scene there as 'looking at a military invasion.'

Praying in agreement. I used to live right outside Garden of the gods on West Bijou Street. A very beautiful place is being destroyed right now. Please stay safe everyone.
Please pray for my unsaved loved-ones. Time is short.
