The loyalty and admiration I once held for America got a whole lot dimmer this morning as it has now for years. I was hoping the Supreme Court would see that the constitution is being shredded. Instead, they stomped on the pieces. This is NOT the land of the FREE or BRAVE, as I was told and foolishly believed when I was young.

That was weird to me, too. Who flubs the Oath of Office?? I know people are nervous and all that, but still . . . It wasn't the fact that he had to have a do-over -- it was that they did it out of sight of the public, in secret. Who knows what the second oath was? Who knows on what book it was sworn? To my knowledge, I haven't seen ANY record of this proceeding, beyond what was reported in the news. No first-hand witness statements at all. That stunk highly to me at the time, and it still does.

So the government can force us to buy anything as long as it is declared a tax? You must buy a Chevy Volt; you must only buy certain foods; you must put solar panels on your house. If you think you don't have to, the IRS--the 10,000 extra agents that are stipulated in the ACA--will make certain you DO pay.

I just read the leading article at the NY Times, and Chief Justice Roberts made a statement to the effect that "1. There is a general reticence to try and overturn the legislated laws of Congress, and 2. It is not the duty the duty of the courts to try and protect the people from the consequences of their political choices."

I read this as him saying in so many words - "well folks, you voted them in, and they voted in this law, so just grin and bear it...and maybe next time, think twice before you cast your vote!"

The House is going to vote on repeal on the week of July 9th. We must not give up! This might just be the thing that spurs people to the polls in November. Until then, we must keep praying and fighting. This is not yet over. Roberts, according to Fox News just now, has said that they did not rule on whether it was a "good" or "bad" law, merely that it was Constitutional. Congress can still repeal.

Not sure what this has to do with whether it is Constitutional. Something can be a great policy, and still not meet constitutional muster.

This is a tax. Period. If you make $50,000 a year, you will be taxed $2480 a year for this hideous program. We will be taxed for goods that we haven't even purchased. The good news is states can choose not to implement this law as they will not face penalty via diminished Medicaid payments should the state opt out. This law can be repealed in the next election if we get new leadership. But this next election will get downright nasty and I predict voter fraud will surface in order to keep Fauxbama in office.

However it turns out, it's all part of God's divine plan. Corrupt leadership is rampant, not just within the US, but throughout the world. It is this kind of environment that will serve as a catalyst for the rise of the AC in the coming days.

There is no hope for my state. Our governor declared before this even went before SCOTUS that he would institute Obamacare statewide. He was "voted" in (I have my suspicions about massive voter fraud--which is prevalent in this state) 2010, so we are stuck with him for a couple more years.

And by the way, there was a CLEAR constitutional infringement here where Obama and his Communist minions clearly laid down a mandate that says we must now have health insurance. And when my company drops me or makes their policy so worthless that it shuts down all other competition, I will be FORCED to buy this burnt up pinto of a health policy. Where big brother decides my level of care and treatment. YAAAYYYYYY!!!! Because I know my government wants to help me when I'm 70+ years old and have a heart attack more than an insurance company!!
