Saw a meteor
One morning last week I was getting ready to leave for work and saw something interesting. I loaded my stuff into the car but decided to walk over and look at something in the yard. When I walked back to the car I looked up to the upstairs window to see if the cats were staring down at me like usual but when I looked up there something in the sky caught my eye. I turned a little to the right to see a meteor streaking across the sky. The only other time I saw one was at night but this was daylight at about 6:07am Central Time that morning and it was a clear sky and the sun had the sky lit up pretty good at that time. I could have been the only one that saw this one also. It was traveling in a north-west to south-east direction from what I could tell. I found it rather interesting since I wasn't expecting to see one in broad daylight and I haven't seen one since so far. Had I not walked over to investigate the leaf pile in the yard and then looked up to look for the cats upstairs I would have gotten into the car and left and would have never seen the meteor.
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn... Isaiah 54.17
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Psalm 91:7-8
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31
