Default Joel Rosenberg's new book "Implosion" *merged*

I am reading this on my Kindle but wondered if anyone else here has read it and what you thought of it? So far I'm really enjoying it!

I've read it and, to be honest, it was the first Rosenberg book I didn't find "exciting" if you will.

Epicenter and Inside The Revolution gave me insight on so much that I had no idea as to what was going on in the Middle East. I found those books amazingly interesting.

Implosion was a book that I really, for the most part, knew of the content that was in the book. It didn't really make me say "wow" at any time like his others did.

I find Rosenberg an excellent writer. "Implosion" isn't fiction. As a matter of fact it's so "non-fiction" it's kinda like a kick in the stomach. He lays things out just as they are ~~ and as I've said before from a "world-view" its pretty depressing. (In real-life)!!! The last half of the book is encouraging as he describes the "first and second great awakening" that took place in the U.S. I don't suspect most of the younger generation has any idea what transpired at that time. As with his other non-fiction books Joel educates; about why things look so bleak, and what God has done in our Country before, and can do again. I've passed my book on to friends and recommended it to my Sunday School class. I wish more people who seem to be "oblivious" to what is going on around us would read it.
BTW, Joel states that if there is to be a third "Great Awakening" it has to begin with each one of us!

For my birthday I got this book

and it looks to be a real winner. Have you read it? Looks to be more exhaustive than Lutzer & Jeremiah's books on these topics, and besides it has a nice topical index in the back. I look forward to reading this one.
