Thread: Obama Turns His Back on Israel at U.N.

Default Obama Turns His Back on Israel at U.N.

Okay, folks, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed -- that's a given. I read this headline and of course, it pinged my "End Times Radar," but it was difficult for me to make heads or tails of the article when I first read it. I'm not a total idiot, but sometimes articles like this seem like so much politi-speak that it's hard for me to wade through the weeds. Probably just a case of my not being able to see the forest for the trees. If someone could be so kind as to translate it into simple English, with an emphasis on "simple," () I would be grateful. As near as I can tell, the Security Council is going to get together and have an Israel-bashing session with the Obama admin's full approval. Is that the general jist of it?

Yep, that is what I got out of it. Also, the music from The Wizard of Oz kept playing in my head with an intoning voice reminding me to "ignore the man behind the curtain . . ." Poppies seem to be growing everywhere this campaign season, are the voters getting sleepy yet?

I did enjoy her explanation of the countries bandying with other nations for leverage and her expose on the lead mouth piece at these sessions. Glad someone is wide awake and sounding the alarm.

    Cry Yep, you got it.

Both Obama and Ambassador Susan Rice know what is coming ~~ a curse on Israel.
Instead of supporting Israel they are opting to "do nothing" which is par for the course.

Gen 12:1-3 "The LORD said to Abram: Go out from your land, your relatives, and your father's house to the land that I will show you. I will make you into a great nation, I will bless you, I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, I will curse those who treat you with contempt, and all the peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

Recall in Num. 22 where Balak hired Balaam to put a curse on Israel but God wouldn't allow it to be done.
God is very protective of His people; and doing nothing in the face of evil is equivalent of evil. I fear God has already taken the "hedge of protection" from our country because of our attitude toward Him and His Chosen People!

Things aren't looking good (from a world-view); but I'm planning on leaving before too long

    God Bless,
    Dan
1Co 15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed!

That huge, massive bus that Obama is throwing Israel under? It's gonna skip over them and land right on us!

Jesus, we are waiting and looking up!

My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; the flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; the fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.

Although I am saddened by all the others who are suffering now with the intense heat and power outage.

It would be interesting to know exactly how much better our situation would be (the economy, the weather, etc.) if O had at least taken an uncompromisingly pro-Israel stand during his whole term, even while lousing up everything else that he touched.

The Syrian situation, like all other Middle Eastern problems, is seen by this sorry, anti-Bible administration as yet another opportunity for marginalizing Israel.

This line from the article was interesing:

It turns out that the deal to sponsor an Israel-bashing session at the highest levels was a trade-off for having the high commissioner brief the Council on the subject of Syria.
It implies that a deal was made before today for the invitation to be issued to Navi Pillay. Maybe late last week? How coincidental that a freakish storm moved across the country over the weekend and left D.C. without power.

I purchased a booklet from Friends of Israel a while back, and the gist of the booklet was that it listed countries or empires that turned their backs on Israel, and subsequently suffered. The list of who went against Israel, and then deteriorated was an eye-opener.

I do not have the list in front of me, but it left such as impression that all I can say is...........wow!

Personally, I believe we've sealed our fate. If the President has indeed gone against Israel,

Look out. That's all I can say.

And so what do you expect from an ARAB who is the President of the United States! You know, what I can't figure
is why do the American Jews tend to support him for President? Do they really believe an ARAB will stand behind them? Figure it out!!!

Hurricane Katrina was directly related to our demand on land for peace and Ariel Sharon's giving up the Gaza strip. Katrina wasn't the only punishment, Ariel Sharon himself is still in a coma like state 6+ years after having a stroke on the heels of giving up Gaza for peace that never came.

The Lord avenged Himself against Babylon for the way it treated Israel. He did the same to Egypt in the Exodus. He's done the same for some 3500 years to those who hate the apple of His eye. Why can't people learn a lesson? Isn't a definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results? God help us and protect your own, please. We have madmen ruling over us.

I'm sure your not implying it this way but there's nothing wrong with being Arabic. Being Arabic and being Muslim are two different things. One is a race and one is a religion.
    John 15:13
"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."

    1 John 4:16
"And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him."
