Default Greeting to you all-from Minnesota-land of 10,000 ...MOSQUITOS!

Hi everyone! Been "lurking" here for some time now. I really don't know why it took me so long to join--I'm a bit shy too, but I know what a great group of people are on this forum...never joined a forum before.

I'm a grandmother to 4 (I have two children) and have been married for 32 years! Both my husband and I have been Christians for some time now, but really dedicated our lives when my sister got cancer in the early 80's. She too was saved then. She lost her battle with cancer a year later, and that was very hard for me as I thought she would be healed. I questioned my faith at the time thinking I did something wrong or didn't pray right. However after a time our Jesus healed my heart and my sister got the ultimate healing by spending eternity with HIM! I really hope I get to see her soon-along with my brother, mother and dad. But most of all seeing Jesus will be so awesome!

We don't belong to a church at the moment. That's been a "rocky" road...but our hearts are dedicated to the Savior and we spend a lot of time in the Word here at home. Our kids are saved, but I'm not sure they agree that the Lord will come for us just now. They think it will have to be a lot worse in the world then it is. I don't want it to get any worse for them-just like Jesus, I want to "gather them all under my wings" of course. Other than my husband, it's hard to have anyone to talk to about His soon return.

I feel this forum is the right place to be! I feel so very isolated in my thinking, and then I come here to read wonderful posts and I don't feel as alone (or crazy) like I'm sure most people think of me. Anyway this is long enough. Take good care all! Stay cool if you can!

Hi Bubbe, welcome! I like your thread title, it made me laugh!

Mosquitoes Can't wait until we don't have to deal with mosquitoes anymore!

    Israel Land of 10,0000 mosquitoes

    You can keep those mosquitoes!

Otherwise, welcome, and I know what you mean about being the odd man out at church. I am a member at a bible teaching church but when I say I'm ready to get out of this evil world I get some of the oddest reactions. Seems like people are not really concentrating on the promise of the Lord's imminent return. Got to admit, I haven't been either up until about the last 10-15 years, more so the last 5 years. Praying for the rapture is becoming a full time occupation for me lately.

So you are in good company on this board because everyone here is interested in being Rapture Ready.

Don't be shy! You are as home here (RRBB) as you can be.

After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, "Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this."

Thank you iSong,Maxine,Karen, and MaryB for the lovely welcome! There are so many great hearts and minds here, a lot of knowledge that I hope to glean from! Yes, mosquitos are really our state bird you know! That's what my dad use to say. They are especially fierce this year. It's a lovely state however! Looking forward to sharing what God puts on our hearts here at this forum... Take care one and all!

    Welcome Bubbeto4.
It's a big step but a good one joining a forum like this one.
I hope you get your husband involved as you will both be blessed by the discussions and the community.
I am only a new member myself but I am really enjoying being part of this amazing place.
May God richly bless your time on the BB.

A warm hello to Anymomentnow, TallTimbers, tBrian40! Thank you for your welcomes!

To Anymomentnow-(sorry, still need to learn how to "quote") I wish my husband could join in. Unfortunetly he works very long days-and six days a week to keep us in the lap of luxury -well, I'm kidding of course. (Actually as hard as life is, we are blessed beyond measure-thank you Jesus!) Sometimes I think we need the Rapture so he can have a vacation...But, seriously, I do keep him informed and he's very wize. We "feed" each other the Word-He is our Food for a happy life and marriage, and gets us through each day.

To TBrian-that's such a blessing-to grow in our faith-always room for growing in the knowledge of our Lord!

    Blessings to you all! Lynn

Say G'Day to your hubby for me
My wife and I are also looking forward to the vacation of vacations post the rapture. But something tells me we are going to be pretty busy for at least 1000 years..

Hi Bubbeto4! Welcome to the fellowship at RR! When I lived in the Adirondacks,we said the same
thing about the mosquitoes, that they were the state bird! I know what it is like to have absolute
swarms of them and they are huge! Glad you decided to start a membership, everyone here welcomes
you with open arms. God bless!
