Prayers Answered after 73 years
Praising God for answered prayer for the salvation of my older brother Roger! Thanking my RR family for their prayers for Roger on the RR prayer chain. Although our family was raised in a Christian home, my older brother turned his back on the Church and the Lord and lived his life the way he wanted to live, leaving God in the background. My parents (now with the Lord) prayed everyday for his soul and many a night I would hear them praying for all of us kids on their knees before the Lord. My parents died not knowing when their prayers would be answered. When they passed away the rest of us siblings continued to pray for each other. My brother is a self made man and very successful in his business career...sometimes the hardest ones to see the need for Jesus in their lives. He went through 3 open heart surgeries which failed to bring him to his knees. However, recently he was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer and is facing death soon. This sudden shock and turn of events was the catalyst to turn his life around and today he is a Child of God and a different man completely overnight. He has accepted Jesus and repented of his sins and the transformation is astounding! I am praising God for saving him and for answered prayer! We serve an awesome God!! After 73 years of prayer...God was faithful and answered our prayers and my brother will be in Heaven due to God's wonderful gift of salvation and eternal life through Christ Jesus. We are praying now that his medical team at Stanford will start treatments that will buy him more time to prepare his family and be a witness to his children and grandchildren. We are blessed and praising God every day for His unfailing mercy and grace. Thank you Jesus!
