Question why does God love man ?

I have realized that God loves us so much too much its unbelievable
sending us His son was just too good to be true
its something that only one in love could do cause it is said God had learnt about the evil in the heart of man from his youth after destroying the world with water
why does God love us ???????
picture this a young talented man with wisdom falling in love with an older female drug addict/alcoholic/prostitute who has no future
-I find this to be the story of man and God but my question is
Why does God love us why?????

I suspect that our enhanced knowledge and understanding of everything that'll come with our new bodies will help us to understand the answers to questions like yours.

As selfish and wicked as we are I really don't know.

    It's so mind-blowing, isn't it?!

He loves because that's His nature. 1 John 4:8 tells us plainly that "...God is love." Our amazing God is love itself/Himself. \ 0 /

IDK, but in spite of all my imperfections and mistakes, He loves me.

I think the most beautiful thing life can do is create more life. That's why He created us, out of love. And gave us the ability to do the same (sorta). I think that's just one reason.
    John 15:13
"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."

    1 John 4:16
"And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him."

    Yay!

He is full of hope for us, and by Christ's blood we are presentable to him.

Because that female was made especially for Him and by Him... and not only that, being the Creator and being God, He can make her over completely; wipe out her past, forgive her, change her physically and spiritually, and give her a brand new, spotless future, and they can have a relationship like none other.

God the Father loves us because we are His, because we faithe on the Beloved Son. God likes faith, we can have faith and place it on the Son, it's what He's lookin' for, and with His help, we are capable of that.

Thanks to sweeetlilgurlie on Narniaweb for the sig

He loves us because He is Love
He loves us because He is Faithful
He loves us because He is Superior in all His ways
He loves us because we are His creation

I've thought about your question today and logged on when this thought popped in my mind,
"Simply put, God is better than I/we - He is better than the combined sum of all of mankind or creation." We don't have the capacity or the inclination to love and forgive as He loves and forgives. We can't begin yet to understand (or perhaps never will fully understand) the depths of His amazing perfection and holiness. He is the Superior Creator and He loves because He is Holy and He chooses to love us. Love us enough to have sent His only begotten Son to die and take the punishment for all humanity in order that we might be saved from the wrath to come in this world and in the next. He is I AM - He is the ultimate expression of Love. It is His way. It is mysterious and powerful and awesome.
1 John 3:23 ~ And this is His commandment, That we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

I tend to see it best when I think of my own children. The Lord gave us the picture of the prodigal son to show His heart about men. I guess I know the "why" when I think of it like that, love just 'is'. He has watched those who love Him grow up before Him, He loves us very deeply.

It is like how you love your own child whether they are bad or not. I have 2 boys and both have lied and said awful things, but regardless I still love them very much. I might get angry and correct them, but it does not mean I have lost my love for them.

I look forward to someday being able to experience/comprehend a loving father. I know in my mind that my Heavenly Father loves me, but emotionally I have a "block", like a mental block, but an emotional one... For me, it would have been easier to accept God's love for me if He was never referred to as "Father" in scripture, for me it's a word that triggers intense feelings of anger and shame. I have spent much time in prayer, scripture, and Christian counseling trying to solve this, to no avail. I know, however, that it will melt away when I am in His presence.

I know what you mean, and I see it more like how you love your own children or spouse, and that is how the Lord loves you. Even if our earthly fathers were a great experience, I see it much more clearly when I think of my own experience with my children.

I always enjoy when I'm reading scripture and a verse makes me think of an RR-BB thread. Last night I read this in Ephesians3:18-19: may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.

    Isong..... God is Love.

And through Christ we can love in return. We are His creation, His children.

And we are designed for fellowship with Him.

But trying to fathom His love is beyond us.

Kinda like.... we can see the ocean, but we cannot drink it all.

His ways are not our ways. He's superior in every way to everything, and to top it off, so much kinder and perfect then anything or anyone or any imagination.

God is love. He's willing and He did. The case is settled as far as it concerns God. He loves us and has made the way for us to be together with Him forever in perfection and in perfect harmony.

    Balls in mans court now.

Jesus Christ. He is God manifest, He is the personification of God's love and the endless depths of His mercy. Accept Him or reject Him. The Father says come. The Son says come. The Spirit says come. God together says come.

God is willing that all should be saved.

It's man who refuses Him. Don't refuse Him. Come. Jesus Christ offers rest for your soul and the revival of your heart and mind. He offers you life again, where you were dead in your trespasses in a life of ruin and futility.

God offers all that now and even more in the world to come, glorious and wonderful things man can't even hope to contemplate and dream about.

Things that are so now, perfected and set as it was intended in a way fallen man never knew things could be. The end of this current world order is very soon, more so then at any other point in time.

Potential reader, you precious lurker, don't spurn God. He isn't willing to spurn you, it's no coincidence you're here reading this. Accept the gift of pardon in Jesus Christ that God has for you.

Accept His testimony and His work on your behalf and you will be counted among His own.

If we look at why he would love man, it has nothing to do with man. We cannot look at ourselves to make such a determination and expect to get the right answer.

It is because of Him. It is because He is good and righteous. Remember, in 1 John 1 the bible states that He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

God is just and good and it is only because of His goodness that we are forgiven and loved.

If anything is worthy of merit, it is HIM.
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.
