I just read several paragraphs by an attorney who has read the whole Supreme Court decision on Obamacare. It is enlightening, and according to this attorney, Justice Roberts was brilliant, as were all five conservative judges. Apparently, the decision that was written nailed down with agreement by all nine justices that Obamacare was not constitutional under the Commerce Clause, and not constitutional under another clause; but as a tax it is constitutional. As a tax it shows Obama as a gross liar to many more people, ignites more support for Romney, it will be easier to dismantle in the Senate requiring a smaller majority, and (this is huge) gives states the leeway to wiggle out of many of its worst provisions, like expanding Medicaid, and others.
Reading this was a balm for my sore confidence in the Supreme Court and Justice Roberts.
