Default 'I am God' says Morgan Freeman

He was then asked if he believed in God, to which he paused, then said "I paused because I am God."

When asked if he said that "because every man is created in God's image," he said: "Yes or God's created in my image."

He then spoke about his experience when he played God in 'Bruce Almighty.'

"I always knew that someone was going to come at me with a script to play God.

"It's just one of those things, the way your career is unfolding and all the talk about gravitas etc etc, so I had a strong feeling that someone was going to offer me the part of God. I was totally prepared to say, 'Thanks but no thanks,' unless it was a comedy," he said. (ANI)

Well, with so many in the world believing they are God or at least, "their own god", you don't really hear too many people actually saying it. Unless you're Morgan Freeman, that is.

Wow. I still think he's a good actor but he sure is lost.

He must belong to the church of Oprah
But, like Angelka71, I also like his acting...I LOVED him in Driving Miss Daisy and Robin Hood!

Morgan Freeman is a nutcase. Everybody loves to fawn over him but not me. He's also seems like one of the most politically naïve people ever. The stuff he's said in the past is misinformed and crazy.

He's a good actor, but as a human . He is in for a very rude shock.

I use to really enjoy his acting but we lost all respect for him when he had an affair with (or maybe even married) his step granddaughter. Now this.....

Well with him thinking he is God, Oprah thinking God is jealous of her, and the Dalai lama.... . We truly are lost and in desperate need of Our Saviour, and His Name is NOT Morgan Freeman. May we pray for God to save their lost souls.

Disappointing to hear this. I have really enjoyed him as an actor.

    He needs our prayers.

I'm another one of those fans who had confused the actor on the screen with the real person. Always assumed Morgan Freeman was a man of common sense and quiet dignity who knew the Lord.

    So much for assumptions.

Any person who gained so much in this life only to lose his soul is a fool. I pray the elderly Mr Freeman will soon come to his senses and get right with God.

I read that too. Rather sick.

Seems he's fallen prey to the New Ageism's that proclaim one can be a sort of "little god" with enough enlightenment and vibrational tuning......

FWIW, he denies the Step-Granddaughter rumor.

Good grief! What is going on with the clowns in Hollywood lately?
Even Darth Vader (James Earl Jones) came out the other day with the usual MSM tripe "Tea Party is racist" jibberish.......

Freeman has always struck me as bizarre. People fawn over him because he plays roles where he is the "philosopher" or "the voice of reason". To me, he is the epitomy of a cultist or new ager. Nothing more.

With him pushing 80...I assume he just dug his grave even deeper with this foolish comment.

    Stay jobless, my friends.
