    Tsk tsk Perfect [Economic] Storm

Roubini: My 'Perfect Storm' Scenario Is Unfolding Now

In May, Roubini predicted four elements – stalling growth in the U.S., debt troubles in Europe, a slowdown in emerging markets, particularly China, and military conflict in Iran - would come together to create a storm for the global economy in 2013.

“(The) 2013 perfect storm scenario I wrote on months ago is unfolding,” Roubini said on Twitter on Monday.

Comments: Because the world economies are under so much stress and tension (for various reasons), I don't think it will take much to tip the scales into a CRASH...but this is one scenario that is certainly possible!

It will come soon. But do not listen to the ones that say stock up on silver or gold. That will do us no good in a economic meltdown. hahaha. Rely on the lord. Get some water and some extra food, learn how to garden and sustain yourself till the Lord comes to get us, because it won't be too long. We won't be here for very much longer.

And if we are wrong. Well at least you know how to garden and some good veggies!

Don't forget to get prayed up! Be right with God and he will provide.

I dunno ya'll...it seems to me every year we do get closer to some kind of "perfect storm" but we never quiiiiiite get there. This year they are saying "oh, 2013 is going to be horrible." But last year they said 2012 was going to be horrible. And in 2013 they'll say 2014 is going to be horrible. It seems to me that everyone is being kept on the edge of their seats but the "perfect storm" never really materializes. Yes, it's going to eventually get there, especially during the Tribulation. But I think the world governments along with the media sources are hypersensationalizing (how do ya like that word? to keep everyone on edge and consumed by anxiety.

I think this is a result of the battles going on in the heavenly realms, Satan trying tempting the believers to sin by being anxious but also preparing the unbelievers to accept a one world ruler/government to come in and "cure" all the world's problems.

    Again..dunno, just thinkin'

I've been talking a lot lately about this perfect storm that is quickly (IMHO) heading our world's way. I truly believe that it is the staying hand of God who is holding this storm back. Praying for the lost to come to Him soon. I soooo want to hear our Lord's words for us to "Come up here."
Now when these things begin to take place, look up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near Luke21:28

Well, I think 2012 has been 'horrible', and I think 2013 is going to be worse. Unfortunately, your comments remind me of he frog in the water. Everything is relative! Compared to two years ago, global economies are much worse off. But, as our everyday reality becomes the 'norm', we don't think of it as abnormal at all.

The frog in the pot is a perfect comparison, Resting! The world is definitely being desensitized...or at least worn out...by all the terrible events as well as the threats of even worse events to come.

I admit I have to turn off the news and internet on a regular basis and just spend time thanking God for my and my family's salvation, thanking Him that there's still time for the lost, and then just enjoying time with my family and getting outside and away from technology to see there is still a world out there and there are still some good things left in God's creation here and there

The storm beyond proportions is definitely building on the horizon.

I was just thinking about "Just In Time" salvation. I wonder how many of us Thank God and the person/group responsible for leading us to receive the free gift of salvation in Christ these days? If you think about it, we are so close to the "Rapture" based on the signs/birth pains we see, that many could be considered just making it in on time... I Praise God for all those he has led by the spirit to salvation... I accepted back in 1974 as new teen, but still thank God for his mercy on me daily.

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me.... Yes, the perfect storm is upon us, but it is not just the economy. If it were, then we could indeed be kept on the edge of our chairs for many years. But this storm as several components.

The first component is our economy which is entwined with the worlds economy. The EU is on the verge of a melt down. The United States is spending trillions of dollars it doesn't have. Our debt is over 15 trillion dollars. This is so large it is impossible to pay off. The only solution is to keep printing money and fix the books. There only needs to be a small crisis to topple the financial scheme that has been put in place.

The second component is the middle east. Iran is determined to build the bomb and the world knows it. Syria is about to fall and where it's stockpile of chemical weapons ends up is anybody's guess. Russia has drawn a line in the sand with regards to Syria. Attack Syria and you attack Russia. Israel can't stand by and allow Iran or Syria to endanger it's existence so war is coming.

The third component is the natural disasters that are growing both in number and size. Famine is on the horizon and this alone is enough to start wars.

With the economy in shambles, the second or third component can easily bring the whole system down. This isn't something that can be seen happening in a year or two. It's happening now, today, and by the end of this year all hell is going to break loose. It will literally be hell on earth.

With regards to the rapture! God's word says it will be like the days of Noah and the days of Lot. In Noah's days violence filled the whole earth. We see this in Islam, the false religion. Islam is a religion of death and destruction. Everything that Islam touches is destroyed. Also in the days of Lot homosexuality was rampant and approved of. It is today also with gay pride parades even happening in the heart of Jerusalem. Can judgement be far off? There has never been a time in history when both the days of Noah and the days of Lot have converged. Know the seasons.

Truth spoken with such dignity! Thanks DM! Your post pulls all the stops out and states it just as it seems to be. I am in agreement.

Very well said. We are holding on by a very small thread, and everything inside of me tells me it could very well be a matter of only days, if not minutes, before all hell breaks loose, - literally. Everyone is feeling the stress. We as Christians know where it is coming from. Unfortunately, those who do not know Christ continue to find an outlet for this stress, making the times we are living in almost unbearable. Violence seems to be at every turn, and I'm seeing right here in front of us, - even among families and even with Christians. I pray for all of us, that we not give the enemy a foothold, - that we recognize the attempts of the enemy for what they are, and that we will all have wisdom and discernment to fight that spiritual battle so many of us are facing right now. I pray for protection for all of God's people, - that we will be protected and provided for, as we await that trumpet call, in Jesus' name I pray.
In the name of Jesus, - let no weapon formed against any of God's children prosper.

Looking back in history, October seems to be the month when the stock markets have crashed, and I would be totally surprised if it doesn't happen this October, if not before. The Euro is already calling upon private investors for funding, creating the perfect scenario for AC to come on the scene, though still unrevealed at present.
Brothers and Sisters, I know that I know that I know, that we are in the very last days, and very possibly in the very last minutes before Jesus comes for his bride. Hang on to Jesus. He promised he would come to our rescue, and He will.
Any day, any hour, any minute now, we will be going home!!!
Come Lord Jesus and bring us home soon!

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast."
    Ephesians 2:8-9 NIV

I may not be perfect, but Jesus thinks I'm to die for!

In these very last days, hours, minutes....we must:

    Trust in God, Not Gold!

Don't be taken in by those commentators and economists who encourage you to buy gold. They got us here in the first place.

Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. Jer 17:5

So true. I was thinking when I read your short post....I'd almost like to be in that situation so some of my family members would be able to see how the Lord takes care of His own....and show them what the Bible has to say vs what is happening the the world. Then I think....eeek! We shall see.

I came back to the post to say that now I can't suppress the excited "feelings" I have after reading several different threads today.....sometimes "feelings" are a real pain in the....neck

This reminds me of the story of Elijah. When he ran from Jezibel--he was petrified with fear. He forgot that God is his Provider and Deliverer. God took care of him in the wilderness. I'm ready for the rapture! What good is it to gain all the riches in the world and lose your soul in the end. James 5:7,8.

Amen, dmpetersn! You can also add the rapid movement on the globalism/facism occusring even in th USA. We are losing our freedoms daily. We know America most relinquish our sovereignty to have a one world leader and we are sinking faster than the titanic!

We can add in the rise of evil at shocking rates and the rampant escalation of apostacy.

    Damascus could disappear any day.

The Ezekiel and Isaiah end time battles have all the key nations already in place.

The rise of the muslim brotherhood in several nations in less than a year!

George Soros and agenda 21...evil, totalitarianism, destroying America. promoting the UN agenda, taking away guns is always a precursor to facism.

The list is endless it seems

Earthquakes and volcanos on the rise

    Drought in the USA
Jesus is coming now at "Any Moment"! Are you ready?

Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Praying for the Peace of Jerusalem. Amen.

I don't think we have much to worry about I think Jesus is coming back for us before the economic storm blows in
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Cor 1:18
