Default Three Things That God Cannot Do

The pictures below show the set my church had at our local county fair. Our church has been setting up this tent and display for over ten years. This was my first year to be part of this event. We were there from Tuesday through Sunday. When we closed the tent down Saturday night, we had somewhere around 250 – 300 people pray to accept Jesus into their lives and countless seeds planted.

As the crowd passes by, we are giving out tracks and asking people if they would like to know the three things God cannot do. It’s amazing how many people stepped right up to the display and wanted to see the answers. Many said that God can do anything and wanted to prove us wrong.

Once we go through the answers and verses, we asked,” based on what was just revealed, if you were to die today, are you 100% sure you would go to heaven?” If the response was no, I’m not sure, no one can be that sure… we asked if they would be willing to come inside the tent, sit at a table, and spend 10 minutes or so and let us open a Bible and share with them how they could be saved and know for sure they were going to heaven.

The best experience I had was when four 15 year old boys came up to the display to see the answers, and when I started the conversation, one of the boys opened up and said he was here yesterday and got saved and wanted his friends to hear the same message.

I don’t know if this is a popular technique, used by many or if it’s unique to our church, but it was very effective in my opinion, and such a blessing for me to watch and lead others to Christ.

    I like it!

It would make an awesome tract, if it isn't already.

When it comes to evangelism, I'm always "on".

" I have had an increasing burden to engage in some down and dirty, street evangelism." March 6, 2010

Isaiah 6:8 I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “ Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?”

Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”

    Matthew 22:9 NIV
'So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’

    I'm praying for you daily!

That's a great idea! More people should set up tents and do like wise.
