Default I have a question about rtsp downloads

Hi , I am not too swift in these things but here goes.

I want to listen to a sermon from 3 days ago on a Christian website but when I clicked on
listen now, it said it could not connect to webpage. It gave a link to other websites to go to
to download what's needed, which is real time streaming protocol program. I didnt download anything
yet, I wasnt sure if it costs money in the long run ( most said free download), and I also was afraid
of a virus. And my husband said that it 's not possible for my pc to get this, it wont be recognized.
But he didnt even look into it and sometimes dismisses me like he couldnt be bothered, literally.

Sooo, anyone here know about this?

    Thanks so much!
    God Bless

I dont have any direct experience, but Windows Media Player should be able to handle that protocol.

The files themselves probably end in .3gp

Lots of portable media devices (smart phones, digital cameras, etc.) produce that sort of file too.

Without more specifics it's hard to give a surefire answer. Sounds like you may in fact need a particular codec to decode the file and have it play correctly. Try updating your media player's codec data-base and see if that helps.

Here's a "generic solution" that might work and you may not need to download anything: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...-for-streaming

    I hope this helps
