    Default Hello

I have been lurking here for about 6 months now. This site is amazing and helped renew my relationship with God in a big way. I grew up in a Christian home but I think I am just now learning what it is like to have my own personal relationship with Him. For 15 years I have had this alarm in my heRt that the rapture is about to happen. It's been gradually building but for the past 2 years the feeling has been on red alert. It's at the point that it is all that I think about. God is helping me not to be terrified about it. I have been having a hard time letting go what I have here on earth. He is helping to have complete faith in Him and that He is in control. I believe my calling is to teach those about the times that we live I and about what is to take place after the rapture happens! By the way I am a Pre-Trib believer.

    Israel Learning first.

(If you click on the link and read the whole page my post will make the most sense to you.)

I am excited about the end times and learning all I can learn about the Revelation of Jesus Christ to the Churches. I am ready to go to the wedding banquet and not so patiently waiting for His call to "Come up here."

I'm trying hard to be a learner, not a teacher....

Welcome to the board. I've seen some of your posts already and have enjoyed hearing from you.

After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, "Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this."

Welcome to you Jamar643! I certainly HAD that same feeling some years ago!

As we approach the time for Jesus to call us all home, He is putting the need to tell others into our hearts-you're experiencing that right now! It sounds like you are on the right tract trusting God for His help.

He is putting a terrific burden on me (I can and will handle this) for this now too -actually I am so busy working on that-it's like working in a vineyard-hard, but we will rejoice when the harvest comes in...This forum is very helpful, along with our Bible (the most important source), to edify believers here and saving the lost with the Holy Spirit's leading.

Jesus would never make the Rapture a scarey event! It will be awesome, and as for the world you will leave, it will be the scariest place you can only imagine! I don't think any of us can foresee life here after. You won't recognize the world we leave and therefore, there will be nothing left to hold on to. (I'm only a bit concerned over my kitty and my daughter's kitties too-well, all animals that I love way too much-I'm sure God has a plan for them too).

If you are you afraid to leave this world because certain loved ones aren't saved-well, you have a job to do and you can do it will HIS help!! He will lead you with His power and grace!. Let's get busy!!

Take good care, It's a battle at times isn't it? Blessings to you! LynnE

Bubbeto4, IamPJ, mbrown, iSong and IAMSAVED thanks for the warm welcome! I have that exact same feeling bubbeto4! My fear is that it's too late for me to go from city to city to witness to people but I can still reach the lost on Facebook or YouTube or sites like that. I have always been fascinated with the times we are living in now. Even when I was running from God I still felt like it was my job to share with people about the times we are living in and what will happen after the Rapture! Vi know teachers are judged more strictly but I have this overwhelming burdon that I need to witness to anyone who will listen because our time here on earth is quickly running out!

Yes indeed Jamar! We are blessed to have the computer with Facebook, etc. to share the Gospel. Just hoping the window of opportunity stays open for as long as possible-hopefully till Jesus comes for us! I can't imagine not having this way of sharing. I'm not a teacher, but more of a "pointer"-, and a student that's learning a lot day by day.

This Forum has so many good teachers-all in one site-we are blessed!

I keep thinking of Rev. 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. The "Time is at hand" really strikes a cord.

Praying you'll feel as home here as I do. Take cares

Agreeing! Just a side note here Jamar-I've been trying to use Damascus as a witnessing tool by sharing that the Bible is real and true by telling those who may not believe in the Bible that the Bible contains prophecies that have been 100% accurate-and there are ones remaining which haven't occured yet and will soon.

Then I say to watch Damascus and how the Bible says it will be completely destroyed -and this hasn't been fulfilled before-just in case they see this and it reinforces what they've been told about Bible prophecy. And, should Ez. 38 (and others) occur before the Rapture, we need to "run away with that" and shout it to the hills!

I know! I ran from God for so long and came to the point where I almost denied he existed because I was so messed up and I would blame everything on Him and never myself. I feel so humbled that not only does He forgive us if we come to Him but we get eternity with Him and he rewards us for following Him and having faith in Him? I feel so unworthy for those things but I thank Him do much for dying for me. There's just no way I can deny the Power of God with everything that is going on around this wicked planet.
