    It has been a while since I read some of Charles Ryrie's books, but I recall them as clearly written and good. Ryrie is a strong dispensationalist and he knows how to explain it well. You know he must be good if the "Reformed" guys are always attacking his work. I would recommend his writings.

    I only read "A Survey Of Bible Doctrine" which came out in the 1970s I believe.

    i read survey of bible doctrine back in 82 in bible college. it was fun to see my son bring his copy home with him last summer...same bible college.
    "so, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and steady, always enthusiastic about the Lord's work, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless" (2 cor. 15:58 NLT) or "your labor is not in vain."
