My daughter, P, will be 3 in October. I've found some GREAT websites from the forum here and am looking for more Christian homeschooling programs just so I can pick "The BEST." so any suggestions would be great. As of right now I'm leaning on http://www.preschoolpost.com/ and http://www.abcjesuslovesme.com/
My mother in law, a teacher for 30+ years, think she's too young and if I start her "too early and she progresses too fast" she will get bored and then become a behavior problem if she has to go to public school. I've gotten several lectures from her about letting her be a kid. Needless to say it's a little discouraging when I hear stuff like that. Considering she is accustomed to public education I can't really value her opinion (sorry). So I'm looking for homeschooling mom opinions. Is 3 too young?
My daughter LOVES reading and she already knows her colors, can count to ten, and recognizes some letters. I say she is already advanced for a 2.5yr old and I shouldn't discourage her from learning if she wants to learn.
